MOAR gives awards

The Midwestern Ohio Association of Realtors (MOAR) recently recognized members during the organization’s mock trial and annual meeting.

Members were recognized for their excellence and contributions to the association.

Adam Rose, of Western Ohio Mortgage in Sidney, was awarded the Affiliate of the Year. This award recognizes affiliate members for their service and commitment to MOAR through committee participation, leadership positions and support of MOAR programs.

Angela Szaruga, of Choice Properties in Russells Point, was presented the Rookie of the Year award. This award is given to realtors who have been licensed in the real estate industry for less than two years and who have demonstrated their professionalism and promise for the future, support MOAR and further their education.

Tambra Young, of Berkshire Hathaway Professional Realty Services in Troy, was awarded the Best Co-op award. This award exemplifies the realtors who are courteous and professional and go the extra mile to ensure a positive experience for all parties in a real estate transaction.

Melissa Bosley, owner of the Realty Passkey in Lakeview, was recognized as Professional of the Year. This award recognizes those who have made the commitment to their association, their communities and the real estate industry with their service and dedication.

Wayne Snyder, of Galbreath Realtors in Troy, was awarded the Broker of the Year award. This award recognizes the broker who gives to his association, gives of his time and leadership skills. He not only participates in association activities, but encourages the involvement of his agents.

The Midwestern Ohio Association of Realtors has more than 475 members in Auglaize, Champaign, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby counties.
