OSGOOD — Osgood State Bank has announced the addition of key members to its management team to support continued growth in lending and deposit services.
Rob Albers, of Minster, joined Osgood State Bank in December 2015 and was recently promoted to executive vice president. Albers is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and has more than 25 years of commercial and ag lending experience, working directly with commercial businesses and agricultural operators throughout this region.
Zach Sommer, of Minster, has joined the team as a commercial lender. Sommer obtained a degree from the Ohio State University and most recently was an operations manager with a regional bank in Columbus.
Recent additions to the Osgood State Bank operations team include Karen Schmitmeyer, of Minster, and Randy Hoehne, of rural Fort Loramie. Schmitmeyer joined the team as the Fort Loramie Branch manager and recently was promoted to branch administrator over all branch operations.
Hoehne recently joined Osgood State Bank as the senior operations officer and works closely with the compliance and audit teams of the bank. Randy obtained a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Cincinnati.
Pam Depweg, one of the bank’s longest tenured employees, is transitioning to part-time work after 45 years of service. She held many positions over the years at the bank and was most recently the human resources manager. She is supporting the Loan Processing Department.
As Depweg retires from her management role, taking her place in that position is Trena Hershberger, of Sidney, who joined the bank in early 2016 and brings more than 15 years of human resources experience to Osgood State Bank. Hershberger obtained a degree in human resources from the Ohio State University.
