COLUMBUS —The Village of Versailles was honored for its achievement during the past year at the 2017 American Municipal Power (AMP)/Ohio Municipal Electric Association (OMEA) Conference.

The Village of Versailles received the AMP System Improvement Award. The System Improvement Award was initiated to recognize member utilities that have made significant improvement in service to their customer-owners. Versailles received this award for the Circuit #1 12kV conversion and substation improvements and effort to maintain reliability, efficiency and cost-effective operations.

The annual conference was held in Columbus September 25-28 and was attended by more that 400 municipal officials and industry representatives , with speakers from various national organizations.
