CHICAGO — Aaron Matthew Stevenson was sworn in as a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Nov. 9.
Stevenson, a 2009 graduate of Lehman Catholic High School, attended undergraduate school at the Ohio State University where he double-majored in political science and economics with a minor in business administration, graduating cum laude. After a year of working for the Ohio Department of Commerce, he enrolled at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he served as an editor on the Ohio State Law Journal, graduating in May 2017, magna cum laude. He was recently inducted into the Order of Coif, an honor society for United States law graduates.
Stevenson practices law in Chicago, Illinois, with the law firm of Paul Hastings LLP. Paul Hastings is an international law firm with 21 offices worldwide. Paul Hastings ranked first in “The American Lawyer’s” 2014 and 2015 annual A-List of the 20 most successful law firms in America. The firm has a wide range of practice areas. Stevenson’s practice focuses on strategic mergers and acquisitions, leveraged private equity buyouts and financing transactions for public and private companies.
He is the son of Jim and Gwen Stevenson, of Sidney.
