ANNA — “ Once again 2017 saw strong growth in our business,” said Paul Hoying, president of Hoying and Hoying Builders Inc. “We continue to specialize in custom home building and we continue to expand our customer base in Shelby, Auglaize, Miami, Darke and Champaign counties. We are proud to be celebrating our 40th year of operation. During that time we’ve built 2 and 3 homes for some our clients and it’s humbling and rewarding to now be building homes for the 3rd generation of some families.”

His report continues:

“As I begin to cut back on hours we are happy to announce Chris Hoying as vice president and co-owner of Hoying and Hoying. Chris has worked summers through high school and college and full time since graduation from the University of Dayton. Just like me, Chris has a passion for building. He and all of our dedicated people will guarantee that we continue our reputation for the best service and quality of construction”

Hoying and Hoying had the opportunity in 2017 to work in partnership with Habitat for Humanity and Airstream to build a new home in Jackson Center.

“We had volunteered on several Habitat Homes in the past but this was the first time I managed the complete job. Airstream was the major contributor and supplied most of the volunteer labor. It was a pleasure to work with such a professional company and motivated workforce.
