SIDNEY — PERRY proTECH Technology Division based in Sidney, Ohio, had a strong year in 2017.

“The organization consists of multiple lines of business; traditional IT sales, managed services, project-based hardware and software implementation services, and physical and network security services,” said Perry Carfagna, president of the technology division. “In 2017, all lines of business had significant growth.

His report continues:

PERRY proTECH believes this can be attributed to multiple factors. First, many clients are feeling positive momentum with the economy. This is allowing our clients to invest into their business with a variety of technology projects. These projects typically include refreshing older equipment, implementing new technology for their own business expansion, or adding security to ensure both their business and their clients are protected.

Secondly, customers are now considering procuring hardware, software and services in a completely different manner. PERRY proTECH’s managed services offering allows clients to focus on running their business and leaving the technology management to others. At PERRY proTECH, there are multiple offerings that help customers augment their existing staff or completely turn over management of desktops, servers, networking, storage, and complete help desk support.

In 2018, the technology division expects to see growth again in multiple business lines. With laser focus on managed services, the company sees this as a pathway to the future. While the traditional business will continue to grow, most customers are interested in the higher value of managed services for IT versus trying to procure, implement, and manage technology on their own.

The other exciting area of growth for the Sidney-based organization is deeper integration with the imaging branches of PERRY proTECH. PERRY proTECH has branches supporting over 6,000 clients throughout Toledo; Findlay; Mansfield; Lima; Dayton; Fort Wayne, Indiana; and Polaris our newest office in Delaware County, Ohio. The technology division of PERRY proTECH is poised for a strong and exciting 2018.
