Burglary suspects sought

BOTKINS — The Botkins Police Department, along with Sidney-Shelby County Crime Stoppers, is seeking assistance from the public in connection with a burglary at the Trojan Den’s Pizza restaurant last summer.

On Tuesday, July 28, at 5:30 a.m., the Trojan Den’s Pizza restaurant, 107 S. Main St., was burglarized by two unknown white males. The individuals were possibly driving a dark green 2001-06 Chevy Tahoe SUV. Both individuals were medium height with a thin build.

The Botkins Police Department is requesting help from the public in identifying the people responsible. Anyone with information can contact the Botkins Police Department at 937-693-4341. Information may also be submitted to Chief Tom Glass at 937-693-4341 ( [email protected] ) or through the Crime Stoppers tip line, 492-8477 (TIPS).

A reward of up to $500 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects. Callers will remain anonymous.

The funds used for Crime Stoppers’ rewards are raised through donations and Municipal Court fines. Tax dollars are not used to pay rewards.
