TUESDAY

-8:47 p.m.: theft. Tara Wolaver, 1029 Hazelnut Lane, reported the registration and manual were stolen from her vehicle at her residence.

-7:53 p.m.: theft. Sourav Kumar, 720 Countryside Lane, reported a fraud incident in which he lost $5,800.

-4:39 p.m.: breaking and entering. Robert Freund, 3300 Tawny Leaf Court, reported someone entered a garage at 520 S. West Ave. and stole tools, valued at $1,844.

-3:22 p.m.: endangering children. Police investigated a complaint about child endangering at a Sidney address.

-2:03 p.m.: criminal damaging. Mary Velazco, 2729 Kristy Way, reported her mailbox was broken in half. Loss was $100.

-1:51 p.m.: theft. Police arrested Samantha Striff, 19, 4129 Children’s Home Road, on a theft charge. She allegedly stole $28.65 worth of merchandise from Dollar General, 166 W. Court St.

-12:57 p.m.: burglary. Richard Daisy, 706 N. Ohio Ave., reported 50 silver bars and an unknown number of collector coins, valued at $270, and $200 in change were stolen from his residence.

-11:38 a.m.: theft. Amanda Burton, 601 S. Ohio Ave., reported a TV receiver box, valued at $800, was stolen from her front porch.

-8:01 a.m.: obstructing official business. Police arrested a 17-year-old boy on charges of obstructing official business, resisting arrest and delinquency in the area of Highland Avenue and Campbell Road.

MONDAY

-9:45 p.m.: theft. Georgia Spears, 402 E. Court St., reported the theft of a tablet computer, valued at $150, from her residence.

-3:16 p.m.: theft. Personnel at Dollar General, 166 W. Court St., reported two juveniles stole undergarments, valued at $50, from the store.

Accidents

Charles White III, 33, 620 S. Ohio Ave., was cited with failure to control after an accident Monday at 5:03 p.m.

White, driving a tow truck, was towing a vehicle from an accident scene on Michigan Street at Interstate 75. The vehicle he was towing hit a police cruiser, driven by Officer Mark Brunson, that was stopped at the scene.

• Devan Shade, 23, of Piqua, was cited with failure to maintain an assured clear distance after an accident Monday at 4:22 p.m.

Shade was eastbound on Michigan Street, near I-75, and changed lanes. The pickup truck he was driving hit the rear of a car that was stopped at a red traffic light. The driver of the car was Cindy Monnier, 58, 8988 Tawawa-Maplewood Road, Maplewood.

Fire, rescue

WEDNESDAY

-12:58 to 11:28 a.m.: Medics responded to three calls.

-3:42 a.m.: fire. Firefighters were called to iVex Protective Packaging, 456 S. Stolle Ave., where there was a fire in an extruder. The fire was out on their arrival. There was no damage to the building and no loss.

TUESDAY

-1:45 to 8:42 p.m.: Medics responded to nine calls.
