FRIDAY

-3:33 a.m.: criminal damaging. A handicap parking sign was found in the roadway on South Ohio Avenue and West Court Street. The sign was valued at $50 an was placed in the evidence bay at the police department

THURSDAY

-9:15 p.m.: theft. James Ray Goings, 627 E.Court St., was arrested for allegedly taking items from the Fuel Stop, 125 W. Court St. He reportedly took three packs of Cigarillo and left the store without paying for them.

-1:30 a.m.: breaking and entering. Helen Anderson, 533 Rauth St., reported someone removed the door to her shed, leaving the lock in place.

Accident

Melissa Cassidy, 40, 818 N. Main Ave., was cited for failure to control following a two-vehicle accident Thursday at 8:21 a.m.

Cassidy was traveling westbound on Ohio Avenue behind a vehicle driven by Phillip Hurley, 55, 502 N. Main St., Jackson Center. Hurley began turning left onto Court Street when Cassidy started to drive around Hurley’s vehicle but had to stop due to a subject walking across the street.

Cassidy’s vehicle struck the Hurley vehicle. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

-12:16 to 2:14 a.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on three runs.

THURSDAY

-1:48 to 8:33 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on three runs.
