MONDAY

-10:05 p.m.: theft. The theft of $150 in cash was reported stolen from a residence on Doorley Road.

-3 p.m.: theft. A business on Lester Avenue reported the theft of a Buck Knives 110 folding knife, valued at $40, a Leatherman Wave multi-tool with sheath, valued at $100, and a Buck Knives 119 special fixed knife, valued at $50.

-1:56 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report of the theft of an unknown type of missing epilepsy medication, valued at $100.

SUNDAY

-10:29 a.m.: purpose to commit theft. A business on Michigan Street reported someone broke the front door glass, valued at $100, the cash register, valued at $100, an office door, valued at $100, and stole $1,300, at some time between 9:45 p.m. Saturday night and 10 a.m. Sunday morning.

-7:25 p.m.: drug abuse. Jermiah D. Wilson, 38, 806 S. Main St., was arrested for drug abuse and possessing a drug abuse instrument.

-12:43 a.m.: criminal damaging. A back porch railing on a property on Sycamore Avenue was reported damaged. Damage is set at $50.

-12:05 a.m.: disorderly conduct. Christopher P. Hoover, 46, 202 N. Walnut Ave., was arrested for disorderly conduct after police responded to a disturbance report at a business on North Vandemark Road.

SATURDAY

-6:52 p.m.: assault. Robert H. Parker, 30, 2325 Collins Drive, Apt. H, was arrested for assault.

-12:27 a.m.: aggravated robbery. Cody A. Christman, 19, 918 Buckeye Ave., was arrested for aggravated burglary after police investigated a burglary on Merri Lane.

FRIDAY

-8:25 p.m.: criminal damaging. A house window on a home on North Main Avenue was reported to have been shot with a BB gun. Damage is set at $500.

-4:17 p.m.: criminal damaging. An air conditioning unit on a home on Maple Leaf Court residence was reported damaged. The damage cost is set at $500.

-7:34 a.m.: theft. A pink Samsung Galaxy S7, valued at $200, was reported stolen.

Crashes

Chester A. Hughes, 55, of Maplewood, was cited with right of way at private drive after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 5:04 p.m.

Hughes was pulling out to the east of the Lowe’s Home Improvement’s driveway onto Michigan Street when he failed to see and caused a westbound vehicle on Michigan Street to collide into the left rear of his vehicle.

The other vehicle is owned by Heather E. Ploch, 28, of Greenville.

• Allen D. Tangeman, 17, of Shelby County, was cited with stop and yield sign after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 8:10 p.m.

Tangeman was facing the south at a stop sign on Beechwood Road when he pulled out to turn to the east onto Hoewisher Road but failed to yield and his vehicle was struck on left rear by the westbound vehicle driven by Jesse Ralston, 35, 109 Oldham Ave.

• Robert L. Cruikshank, 77, of Springfield, was cited with starting and backing after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 1:35 p.m.

Cruikshank was backing up into a parking space when he struck a parked vehicle in the 100 block of West Court that is owned by Charles D. Wright, of Bellbrook.

• Jessica K. Darner, 20, of Bradford, was cited with assured clear distance ahead following a three-vehicle crash on Friday at 10:58 a.m.

Darner was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 when she rear-ended the slowed vehicle for traffic in front of her that was driven by Milford C. Day, 83, 1508 Park St. Day’s vehicle was then pushed forward into the vehicle in front of her that was driven by Alyssa S. New, 24, 1214 Morris Ave.

TUESDAY

-4:01 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

MONDAY

-3:57 a.m. to 7:18 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to nine calls.

SUNDAY

-9:24 p.m.: open burn. Firefighters conducted an open burn investigation at 224 Grove St. The fire was not permitted.

-9:37 p.m.: cooking fire. Crews responded to 918 Buckeye Ave. for a cooking fire inside of an oven.

-12:15 a.m. to 10:40 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to 10 calls.

SATURDAY

-10:46 p.m.: service call. Crews responded to assist and individual.

-6:34 p.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to a fire alarm.

-5:35 p.m.: service call. Firefighters responded for a service call.

-2:36 p.m.: service call. Medics responded to assist an individual.

-1:32 p.m.: smoke. Crews responded to the report of smoke in the area.

-11:14 a.m.: service call. Crews responded a for an elevator rescue.

-12:27 a.m. to 4:50 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to seven calls.

FRIDAY

-12:58 to 8:50 p.m.: service call. Medics responded to three calls to provide lift assistance.

-10:53 a.m. to 10:34 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to eight calls. One call was for the mutual aid of Anna, and medics were not needed upon the arrival of another call.
