THURSDAY

-8:11 p.m.: theft. A past theft of a Samsung Galaxy S9 cellphone, valued at $1,199, was reported to the police.

-7:34 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report of a past theft of a window air conditioner, valued at $269, an Instant Pot, valued at $119, and a crock pot, valued at $69, from a property on Pike Street.

-3:34 p.m.: drug abuse. Sabrina M. Murphy, 41, 230 Jefferson St., Apt. 90, was arrested for drug abuse after she attempted to bring drugs into the Shelby County Municipal Court House.

-12:52 p.m.: theft. A theft of an orange pocket purse containing a food stamp card, driver’s license and a birth certificate was reported stolen from an apartment in the 300 block of South Miami Avenue.

WEDNESDAY

-7:38 p.m.: burglary. A burglary was reported, which resulted in the theft of a black zipper wallet containing $40 in cash, a PNC Bank card, several personal cards/papers, a pocket knife, and six Vicodin pills, at a residence in the 300 block of Grove Street.

THURSDAY

-6:18 to 10:13 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to seven calls. One was canceled en route.

-5:29 a.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to a fire call.

-9:35 p.m.: technical rescue. Firefighters responded to a technical rescue call.

-11:29 a.m. to 9:44 p.m.: fire calls. Crews responded to three fire calls.

-11 a.m. to 8:25 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to six calls.
