MONDAY

-6:59 p.m.: unauthorized use of motor vehicle, driving under the influence and drug abuse. Police arrested Joseph E. Blackford Jr., 33, 819 Clinton Ave., at 1218 Michigan St. on charges of unauthorized use of motor vehicle, driving under the influence and drug abuse. He allegedly took the auto of Leslie Kimbler, 334 1/2 Grove St.

-5:47 p.m.: misuse of credit card. Sharon Asbury, 900 Norwood Drive, reported misuse of a credit card. Loss was $1,241.39.

-4:05 p.m.: dog bite. Kenneth Pence, 236 Jefferson St., Apt. 5, reported a dog bit him. He had an apparent minor injury.

-3:58 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A woman reported a 15-year-old girl did not return home from school. Police charged the girl with being unruly.

-12:43 p.m.: possession of drugs. Police arrested Brianna Thornton, 29, 604 S. Miami Ave., on a charge of possession of drugs. She allegedly had 26 capsules of heroin.

-11:39 a.m.: theft. Ronald Fergason, 744 Brooklyn Ave., Apt. 9, reported someone stole $10,000 cash from him.

-10:57 a.m.: property found. Two audio extension cables were found in the area of Wells Drive and Parkwood Street and given to police.

-10;09 a.m.: criminal damaging. Steven Geise reported someone damaged at sign at his business at 316 S. Main Ave. Loss was $500.

-8:49 a.m.: warrant. Police arrested Joshua Holtsclaw, 27, 301 New St., on a warrant from Auglaize County.

SUNDAY

-11:22 p.m.: endangering children. Police investigated a report that a child had an apparent minor injury because of a risk created at a Sidney address.

-11:05 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A man reported his 15-year-old daughter did not come home when she told him she would.

-8:50 p.m.: criminal damaging. Lori Wooddell, 525 Carey St., reported someone threw a ball and broke a window at her residence. Loss was $200.

-5:36 p.m.: criminal damaging. Gregory Zirkle, 531 Second Ave., reported someone damaged the roof, a door and window at his residence. Loss was $250.

-5:18 p.m.: domestic violence. Police arrested Gary Withrow Jr., 47, 441 Jefferson St., on a charge of domestic violence and Joey L. Edwards, 34, 614 N. Main Ave., on a charge of obstruction. Withrow allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, Jacqueline Hicks, 43, in the 200 block of East North Street. She had an apparent minor injury.

-3:47 p.m.: theft. Police arrested Jeffery Epley Jr., 40, 632 Second Ave., on a theft charge. He allegedly shoplifted a wireless security camera, valued at $89.99, from Menards. He also was arrested on a warrant.

-12:20 a.m.: driving under the influence. Police arrested Arron D. Hudson, 37, 514 S. Miami Ave. at 115 E. Court St. on a charge of driving under the influence.

SATURDAY

-9:24 p.m.: domestic violence. Police arrested Amy Luchini, 34, 1039 Riverbend Blvd., on a charge of domestic violence. She allegedly assaulted Alvie Luchini Jr., 51, of the same address. He had apparent minor injuries.

-9:16 p.m.: theft. Michele Gortt, 122 1/2 E. Clay St., reported a wallet with $40 cash was stolen from her vehicle at her residence.

-8:13 p.m.: warrant. Police arrested Bonnie Hammons, 48, at large, on a warrant from Darke County.

-12:32 p.m.: theft. Matthew Goffena, 2234 Westminster Drive, reported a flip-bed trailer, valued at $1,000, was stolen from Goffena Furniture, 2600 Michigan St.

-8:06 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Christine A. Black, 23, of Huntsville, at the Logan County Jail and transported her to the Shelby County Jail.

-12:45 a.m.: drug abuse. Police arrested Caleb B. Brown, 23, of Glenford, in the 600 block of North Main Avenue on a charge of drug abuse. He allegedly had a baggy of marijuana and a marijuana pipe.

FRIDAY

-11:51 p.m.: possession of drug paraphernalia. A woman reported her children were smoking marijuana with their friends in her basement. Police recovered a marijuana bong.

-9:58 p.m.: theft. Mandy Lhamon, 729 S. Miami Ave., reported the center console, valued at $100, was stolen from her vehicle at her residence.

-7:41 p.m.: theft. Christopher Wolford, 724 S. Main Ave., reported $27 cash and clothing, valued at $150, were stolen from his vehicle at his residence.

-6:12 p.m.: theft. Zaylee Reed, 21489 Maplewood Road, Maplewood, reported her chow/pit mix dog, valued at $50, was stolen from 619 St. Marys Ave.

-6:01 p.m.: driving under the influence. Police arrested James Richardson, 48, 1341 Shepherd Court, at 816 Second Ave. on a charge of driving under influence.

-5 p.m.: property found. Someone found a wallet in the street at 338 Linden Ave. The wallet belongs to Noah Goodin. Police were unable to contact him.

-4:28 p.m.: theft. Melinda Copeland, 548 Culvert St., reported a GPS, auto registration, and flash drive, valued at $252, were stolen from her vehicle at her residence.

-1:46 p.m.: possession of drugs. Police found seven heroin capsules and a syringe in the area of Court Street and Harvard Avenue. Police are awaiting lab results on the items.

-8:47 a.m.: theft. Jason R. Bensman, 220 E. Clay St., reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle at his residence and stole a garage door opener and weed cutter, valued at $85.

-6:39 a.m.: criminal damaging. Leane Pohaku, 330 Buckeye Ave., reported someone struck her bedroom window with an unidentified object and broke it. Loss was $200. The property is owned by KJT Properties, 707 S. Main Ave.

-3:45 a.m.: theft and curfew violation. Police arrested two boys for curfew violations. The juveniles allegedly stole stereo speakers, CDs, and camping equipment, valued at $200, and $5.70 in cash from the residence of Catherine Epley, 632 Second Ave.

THURSDAY

-1:59 p.m.: property found. Someone found a men’s wristwatch at Amos Memorial Public Library.

-10:34 a.m.: assault. Heidi Leydig, 6529 State Route 66, Fort Loramie, reported someone pushed her in the chest in the parking lot at Menards.

-10:03 a.m.: criminal trespass. Someone entered the property of William Stroud Jr., 219 1/2 S. West Ave., without permission.

-7:03 a.m.: theft. Michael Munson, 1269 Sixth Ave., reported Christmas decorations, valued at $40, were stolen from his yard. Some of the decorations later were recovered.

DEC. 2

-12:14 p.m.: theft. Police arrested Jeramy Risdon, 36, 629 N. West Ave., on a theft charge. He allegedly stole a tool set, valued at $15, belonging to Norbert Reprogle Sr., 815 Arrowhead Drive, Apt. E.

Accidents

Kelly J. Barker, 46, 1203 Superior Court, was cited with failure to maintain an assured clear distance after an accident Monday at 6:53 p.m.

Barker was northbound on Vandemark Road and hit the rear of a car that was stopped northbound at the traffic light at Michigan Street. The driver of the other auto was Barbara J. Dembski, 55, 312 King Court.

• Kimberly A. Nichols, 23, 861 S. Main Ave.,was cited with failure to maintain an assured clear distance after an accident Friday at 3:33 p.m.

Nichols was behind a car on Russell Road at Fourth Avenue. Nichols took her foot off the brake pedal and her auto hit the other car in the rear. The driver of the other vehicle was Savannah D. Brabbin, 17, 1916 Burkewood Drive.

Fire, rescue

MONDAY

-4:57 a.m. to 7:43 p.m.: Medics responded to 10 calls.

-4:47 p.m.: spill. Firefighters were called to the intersection of Fair Oaks Drive and Holly Place to clean up a spill of dry chemicals.

-3:35 p.m.: vehicle fire. Firefighters were called to 225 S. Stolle Ave. to extinguish a pickup truck fire.

SUNDAY

-9:51 a.m. to 5:18 p.m.: Medics responded to three calls.

-5:11 p.m.: smoke. Firefighters were called to 306 Grove St. to investigate a report of smoke. They did not find anything.
