WEDNESDAY

-9:45 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Lamont W. Spradlin, 42, 736 Buckeye Ave., Apt. C, on a warrant.

-9:22 p.m.: theft. Personnel at Walmart reported a shoplifter stole $109.96 worth of merchandise.

-8:07 p.m.: disorderly conduct. Police arrested Benjamin Couchot, 45, 3556 State Route 47, at 204 Forest St. on a charge of disorderly conduct.

-7:01 p.m.: theft. Osa Skeens, 510 Buckeye Ave., reported the theft of a debit card and a food stamp card from her residence.

-6:43 p.m.: disorderly conduct. Police arrested Grant Hanlon, 30, 734 S. Main Ave., at his residence on a charge of disorderly conduct.

-3:15 p.m.: criminal damaging. Sharon Pequignot, 320 1/2 S. Miami Ave., reported two windows in her car were damaged at her residence. Loss was $200.

-11:03 a.m.: theft. Personnel at Sally’s Beauty Supply reported someone stole a flat iron, valued at $109.99, from the store and left.

-9:28 a.m.: theft. Molly Watkins, 1461 Carrol St., reported someone entered her vehicle overnight at her residence and stole a wallet, valued at $10.

Accidents

An accident occurred Wednesday at 5:05 p.m.

Whitney Worley, 24, 906 N. Main Ave., told police she was turning left from Pike Street onto St. Marys Avenue when a car pulled from a parking space on St. Marys and struck her car. The driver of the other car, John Dixon, 61, 333 E. North St., Apt. 407, told police he pulled from the parking space and the Worley auto hit him. He said he looked before pulling out and was already in the road when the car hit his auto. No citations were issued.

• An accident occurred Tuesday at 5:25 p.m.

Michael Terrian, 25, of Troy, driving a Sidney Department of Fire & Emergency Services ambulance, was southbound in the 300 block of South Vandemark Road in the outside lane. A tractor-trailer rig was next to the ambulance in the inside lane. Terrian stayed to the outside of the lane to avoid a collision with the rig and the passenger-side mirror on the ambulance hit a mailbox, cracking the mirror glass and causing a small scuff on the mailbox. The owner of the mailbox was Dennis Barga, 337 S. Vandemark Road. No citations were issued.
