WEDNESDAY

-10:46 p.m.: theft. The past theft of a Samsung Galaxy S7 cellphone, valued at $600, was reported stolen while at the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA on Parkwood Street.

-4:03 p.m.: passing bad checks. Police are investigating the report a bad check was passed at First National Bank on West Russell Road.

-4:12 p.m.: violate protection order. Scotty Dewayne Branscum, 32, 301 ½ E. Court St., was arrested for violating a protection order.

-3:35 p.m.: criminal mischief. The driver’s side door on a 2010 Ford Explorer was reported damaged while parked in the 600 block of North Miami Avenue. The damage is set at $500.

-1:52 p.m.: warrant. Steffani K. Vaughn, 28, 809 Arrowhead Drive, Apt. A., was served a summons.

-3:43 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A male juvenile was arrested for being unruly.

-6:18 a.m.: downed lines. Firefighters responded to the report power lines were down.

-3:14 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to a call.

-10:49 p.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to a kitchen fire, which was out upon arrival.

-6:14 p.m.: downed lines. Firefighters responded to the report power lines were down.

-11:51 a.m. to 10:14 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to eight calls.
