THURSDAY

-1:52 p.m.: theft. Shaquisha Daniel, 22, 1520 Spruce Ave., Apt. 9, reported someone picked up her wallet somewhere between Walmart and Perkins on Michigan Street. The blue and white striped wallet contained an Ohio ID card and a bank card.

-1:04 p.m.: warrant service. Police arrested Shawn Greer, 32, 230 Jefferson Ave., Apt. 30, on a warrant out of Union County.

-8:54 a.m.: theft. Dustin Masteller, 28, 1366 E. Court St., reported someone stole a tree stand and a heater from his residence.

-8:44 a.m.: theft. Shayla Colegrove, 27, 844 S. Main Ave., reported someone had removed Christmas lights from her front yard without her knowledge.

Accident

Jamie Haynes, 36, 329 Franklin Ave., was cited for assured clear distance ahead after an accident Tuesday at 5:34 p.m.

Haynes was traveling westbound on East North Street when she failed to stop behind a car that was stopped in traffic at North Main Avenue, and struck the car in the rear. Haynes stated she looked away from the road for a second, causing her to hit the other vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle was Dale Barr, 68, 894 E. Court St.
