TUESDAY

-12:45 a.m.: domestic violence. A warrant was issued after an alleged domestic violence incident was reported.

MONDAY

-9:21 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A 17-year-old female was arrested for being unruly.

-7:35 p.m.: warrant. Kassia Alberts, 31, of Lima, was arrested on a Montgomery County warrant.

-6:54 p.m.: warrant. A 15-year-old was arrested on an active warrant.

-6:23 p.m.: probation violation. Verlin Powers, 60, 212 Washington St., was arrested on a probation violation.

-3:13 p.m.: theft. The theft of a Barnett Droptine black crossbow, valued at $500, a set of Beets headphones, valued at $100, a Victoria’s Secret credit card and six tablets of Tylenol 3, were reported stolen from a 2011 Hyundai while parked in the 200 block of North West Avenue.

SUNDAY

-7:09 p.m.: theft. A business on North Vandemark Road reported receiving a counterfeit $10 bill.

-6:37 p.m.: theft. Timothy Anderson, 48, 415 Jefferson St., was arrested after the Dollar General on West Court Street reported the theft of a 40-watt GE light bulb and a half-liter of Mountain Dew soda pop. The items were recovered.

-4:45 p.m.: criminal damaging. Four tires on a black 2009 Nissan, valued at $400, were reported damaged at 500 N. Vandemark Road.

-4:04 p.m.: obstructing official business. Reick Joseph Richmond, 30, was arrested for obstructing official business.

-3:33 p.m.: dogs running at large. Police are investigating a report someone was bitten a dog and that two dogs that were running loose.

-11:17 a.m.: theft. A faded orange Schwinn bicycle, valued at $50, was reported stolen from 330 Jefferson St.

-2:51 a.m.: domestic violence. Miguel Bravo, 24, 500 N. Vandemark Road, Apt. 77, was arrested for domestic violence.

SATURDAY

-6:49 p.m.: criminal damaging. Two storm doors were reported damaged at 210 Washington St. The cost of the damage is set at $250.

-3:38 p.m.: theft. The theft of an LG cellphone, valued at $120, from a student at Sidney Middle School was reported stolen.

-11:21 a.m.: theft. Mason L. Brubaker, 43, 225 S. Miami Ave., was arrested for theft after three packs of Pall Mall Red Z cigarettes were reported stolen from 125 West Court Street.

-11:08 a.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report of the theft of a woman’s pink wallet that contained $1,700, a PNC debit card and a driver’s license at 820 1/2 E. Court St.

-1:55 a.m.: driving under the influence. Zane Jones, 30, of Jackson Center, was arrested for OVI.

FRIDAY

-10:14 p.m.: possession of drugs. Police are investigating a drug related incident in which two bags of marijuana and two syringes were seized.

-3:25 p.m.: theft. Katelyn Lee Ann Cornett Nation, 21, 1529 E. Court St., Apt. A, was arrested for theft after Walmart on Michigan Street reported a container of Gerber baby formula was stolen.

-2:41 p.m.: theft. Mason L. Brubaker, 43, 225 S. Miami Ave., was arrested for theft after a container of Colonial vodka was reported stolen from from 125 West Court Street. The vodka was recovered.

-2:38 p.m.: assault. Police are investigating an alleged assault.

-5:04 a.m.: having weapons under disability. Arthur Eugene Adkins, 20, of Celina, was arrested for having weapons under disability.

-2:50 a.m.: aggravated robbery. An LG Stylo cellphone and a set of car keys were reported stolen at gunpoint in the 600 block of East Avenue. A police investigation is ongoing.

-2:08 a.m.: OVI. Quentin V. Blandzinksi, 31, of Anna, was arrested for OVI.

THURSDAY

-5:45 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating a report of the theft the three sums of money, for a total amount of $1,283, that was stolen from a business on Michigan Street.

Oct. 24

-9:14 p.m.: contempt. Mandie V. Barga, 42, at large, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

-4:40 p.m.: theft. A four piece Craftsman combo tool kit, valued at $150, was reported stolen 818 N. Main Ave.

-6:18 p.m.: criminal damaging. Police are investigating a report that a right, rear window on a grey 2014 Lincoln was damaged while parked in the 500 block of N. Miami Avenue. The damage is set at $200.

-2:23 p.m.: possession of drugs. Police are investigating a suspicion that a suspect had methamphetamine in his possession.

Oct. 22

-7:14 p.m.: theft. The theft of a Sanyo 32-inch TV, valued at $128, several shirts, a clipboard and an assortment of other items, were reported stolen from Walmart on Michigan Street. The items were later recovered.

-1:01 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report a Capital One credit card was been taken by someone known and a total of $2,400 was charged using the card.

Crashes

Leon J. Hughes, 66, 1141 Morris Ave., was cited with failure to control after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 5:29 a.m.

Hughes was traveling eastbound on Riverbend Drive when he told police he swerved to avoid a cat and struck a parked vehicle in front of 1137 Riverbend Drive.

The other vehicle is owned by Harold W. Cox, 1137 Riverbend Drive.

• Jenny M. Gillem, 30, 222 N. Pomeroy St., was cited with right of way at private drive after a two-vehicle crash on Monday at 3:29 p.m.

Gillem was backing out of the driveway at 133 Franklin St. onto West Court Street when she failed to see and struck a stopped vehicle in front of the driveway that was driven by Justin J. Martz, 19, of Botkins.

• Harold J. Cavinder, 87, 1873 Dingman Slagle Road, was cited with right of way turning left after a two-vehicle crash on Monday at 7:53 a.m.

Cavinder was attempting to turn left onto South Main Avenue from Children’s Home Road when he struck the southbound vehicle on Main Avenue driven by Melissa Ashby, 51, 8691 Wright Puthoff.

• Charoley L. Case, 25, 2335 Collins Drive, was cited with operating without control after a one-vehicle crash on Sunday at 3:40 p.m.

Case was turning southbound onto Fourth Avenue from Russell Road when she lost control in the turn, hit the curb and went through some fence before coming to a stop in the drive of the Auto View Drive-In on Fourth Avenue.

• Kenneth V. Wilson, 52, 325 E. Court St., was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 2:56 p.m.

Wilson was traveling eastbound on Fair Road when he struck the rear of the stopped vehicle in front of him at the light at Water Street that was driven by Joslyn R. Slone, 18, 209 N. Highland Ave.

•Ashley M. Shroyer, 26, of Wapakoneta, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 11:02 a.m.

Shroyer was traveling westbound on state Route 47 near the intersection of Vandemark Road when she failed to stop and struck the rear of the stopped vehicle in front of her at the red light.

The other vehicle was driven by Michael A. Varno, 39, of New Bremen.

• Eddie E. Pina, 26, of Mission, Texas, was cited with failure to yeild after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 4:46 p.m.

Pina was attempting to turn west from the drive of 2009 Michigan Street when he caused a collision with the eastbound vehicle on Michigan Street that was driven by Katelyn R. Guy, 20, 3280 Tawny Leaf Court.

• Olivia Wise, 16 of Sidney, was cited with operation at sign following a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 3:57 p.m.

Wise pulled from a stop sign on Westlake Avenue when she failed to see and pulled into the pathway of an eastbound on Fair Road that was driven by Wesley Martz, 32, 10351 Stangle Road.

• Skiler P. Gustafson, 16, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 3:22 p.m.

Gustafson was traveling westbound on state Route 47 when she failed to stop in time and struck the stopped vehicle for traffic in front of her that was driven by Sheila A. Quinlin, 81, of Fort Loramie.

• Stephanie N. Davis, 23, 108 Lyndhurst St., was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 8:45 a.m.

Davis was stopped facing the north on Main Avenue and when she wasn’t paying attention she struck the rear of the stopped vehicle in front of her at the light at Russell Road that was driven by Anthony W. McLain, 47, 110 E. Parkwood St.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-12:56 to 4:34 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

MONDAY

-12:08 to 8:54 p.m.: open burn. Firefighters conducted two open burn investigations. One of the fires was in compliance.

-8:04 a.m. to 8:39 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to 12 calls.

SUNDAY

-7:46 p.m.: open burn. Firefighters conducted an open burn investigation. The fire was not permitted.

-4:51 p.m.: arching transformer. Firefighters responded to the report of an arching transformer.

-1:28 a.m. to 6:56 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to 11 calls.

SATURDAY

-12:15 p.m.: carbon monoxide. Firefighters conducted a carbon monoxide investigation at 606 N. Main Ave.

-5:36 a.m. to 7:40 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to 10 calls.

FRIDAY

-6:44 p.m.: standby. Medics were on standby at the SHS football game.

-12:12 to 10:47 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to eight calls.
