Sheriff’s log

TUESDAY

-11:58 a.m.: pursuit. Deputies and Port Jefferson Police were involved in a pursuit in the 17000 block of Mason Road.

-9:40 a.m.: investigate complaint. Deputies investigated a complaint at the Sidney High School on Campbell Road.

-4:26 a.m.: property damage crash. Deputies were dispatched to the 5000 block of state Route 47 in Cynthian Township on the report a vehicle was rear-ended by a semitrailer.

MONDAY

-8:45 p.m.: investigate complaint. Deputies investigated a complaint in the 1500 block of River Road.

-7:38 p.m.: investigate complaint. Deputies investigated an IRS scam complaint at 10841 Mohawk Court in Washington Township.

-12:13 p.m.: investigate complaint. Deputies investigated a complaint at 18488 Herring Road in Salem Township about an illegal electric hook up.

SUNDAY

-8:39 p.m.: suspicious car. Deputies responded to 17653 Sharp Road in Salem Township on the report a suspicious vehicle followed the caller home and stopped in the driveway.

-3:07 p.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to 9365 State Route 47 in Turtle Creek Township on the report of the theft of dogs.

Crashes

No one was cited following a one-vehicle crash on Sunday at 10:49 a.m.

Emma Diane Brite Fraley, 20, of Columbus, was traveling north-westbound in the 5000 block of state Route 29 East when she lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve in the road to the left. The vehicle went off the right side of the road and sideswiped a utility pole, then slid back onto the road and came to a stop in the northbound lane facing the north.

• No one was cited following a one-vehicle crash on Sunday at 10:02 a.m.

Dustin Michael McKinnon, 22, 504 Davis St., Jackson Center, was traveling south-eastbound in the 5000 block of state Route 29 East when he lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a left hand curve, over-corrected and went off the right side of the roadway. His vehicle struck a tree, came to a stop against the tree facing the south.

• Adam Jacob Wagner, 30, of Sidney, was cited with failure to control after a one-vehicle crash on Sunday at 1:27 a.m.

Wagner was traveling eastbound on Wells Road when he went off the south side of the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a telephone pole.

According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Wagner was intoxicated. He was arrested for OVI and booked to the Shelby County Jail.

8:33 p.m.: assist other unit. Botkins Police responded to the Circle K on East State Street in Dinsmore Township to assist OSP.

-8:39 p.m.: suspicious car. Botkins Police responded to the 19000 block of Kentner Road in Dinsmore Township on the report a male was walking southbound with a plastic bag and no coat.

-5:12 a.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue responded to the 200 block of Oakwood Drive in McLean Township.

-10:03 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Deputies responded to the 15300 block of Lock Two Road in Dinsmore Township.

-5:19 p.m.: fire. Maplewood Fire Department responded to Logan County on the report of a house fire.
