FRIDAY
-7:44 a.m.: property damage crash. Deputies were dispatched to the 3000 block of Patterson Halpin Road in Washington Township on the report a vehicle hit a tree in the water.
THURSDAY
-8:10 p.m.: property damage crash. Deputies were dispatched to the 600 block of Wiles Road in Green Township on the report a vehicle hit a tree in the roadway.
Crashes
Micheal Locker, 30, Sidney, was cited with failure to control after a one-vehicle crash on Thursday at 1 p.m.
Locker was traveling southbound on Interstate 75 when he lost control of his car just south of exit 93 causing it to flip onto its top in the I-75 median. The Ohio State Patrol responded to the scene. Locker and a passenger were evaluated on scene by Sidney Medics and released without being transported to the hospital. Sidney Police was also on the scene of the crash.
• No one was cited following a one-vehicle crash on Thursday at 7:36 a.m.
Sara E. Mowery, 38, 7101 Wright Moyer Road, Sidney, was traveling southbound on Cecil Road when she told deputies she swerved to miss an animal, then went off the right side of the road and struck a ditch.
• Caleb James Baughman, 17, of Anna, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 6:01 p.m.
Baughman was traveling northbound on state Route 29 at the I-75 exit ramps intersection when he failed to stop in time and struck the stopped vehicle at the light in front of him that was driven by Ronald L. Albers, 51, 13975 Hardin Wapak Road, Anna.
• No one was cited after a one-vehicle crash on private property on Wednesday at 3:52 p.m.
Lyon Marie Current, 20, 7185 Rosewood Quincy Road, DeGraff, was traveling south-eastbound on state Route 29 when she failed to negotiate a curve, over-corrected and ran off the roadway to the left. Her vehicle then struck an electric wire fence at 5580 State Route 29.
The 2002 maroon Honda CRV, Current was operating, was able to be driven from the scene.
Fire, rescue
THURSDAY
-9:15 p.m.: lines down. Botkins Fire was dispatched to Auglaize County on the report lines were down in the trees which were on fire.
-7:58 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 400 block of West Pike Street in Jackson Township.
-7:46 p.m.: medical. Houston Rescue responded to the 200 block of Miami River Road in Orange Township.
-5:40 p.m.: medical. Perry Port Salem Rescue responded to the 8400 block of Lochard Road in Salem Township.
3:05 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue responded to the 12500 block of Meranda Road in Franklin Township.
-3:03 p.m.: fire. Perry Port Salem Rescue, and Port Jefferson, Quincy and Rosewood Fire Stations responded to 3700 Tawawa Maplewood Road in Green Township on the report of smoke in the residence.
