TUESDAY

-1 a.m.: possessing criminal tools. Police are investigating a possession of drugs and criminal tools incident in which a straw with drug residual on it was seized at North Miami Avenue and East North Street.

MONDAY

-4:18 p.m.: burglary. Five baseball cards were reported stolen, valued at $700, from 230 Franklin Ave.

-3:39 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A juvenile was charged for being unruly.

-11:34 a.m.: contempt. Derrick E. Moorehead,, 46, 2627 Terry Hawk Drive, was arrested on an attempt warrant.

SUNDAY

-1:45 p.m.: criminal damaging. The driver’s side mirror on a black 2001 GMC Sierra was reported to have been damaged while parked in the 700 block of Chestnut Avenue. The damage is set at $100.

-1:46 a.m.: driving under the influence. Brandon Kelly Matthieu, 30, 1102 Campbell Road, was arrested for OVI and OVI refusal breath with prior DUI and Brad A. Ostendorf, 28, 217 New St., was arrested for drug abuse.

-1:37 a.m.: criminal damaging. Police investigated a report that a vehicle was egged at the Mystic Apartments on East Court Street.

SATURDAY

-8:47 p.m.: public indecency – exposure. Gregory Allen Harriger 41 102 High St., was arrested for public indecency – exposure and disorderly conduct -interfering with others.

-7:11 p.m.: theft. Dairy Mart on Michigan Street reported the theft of a 5-Hour Energy drink.

-4:49 p.m.: criminal trespass. Dustin S. A. Platfoot, 37, of Kettlersville, was arrested for criminal trespass.

-3:23 p.m.: felonious assault. Police are investigating an alleged felonious assault report. According to the police report, a Millennium G2 handgun, valued at $500, was seized by police during the investigation.

-1:04 p.m.: theft. Bonnie L. Davis, 47, 3205 Red Feather Road, was arrested for theft after Walmart on Michigan Street reported the theft of merchandise valued at $47.52. The merchandise was recovered.

-11:17 a.m.: felonious assault. Police are investigating an alleged felonious assault.

-9:20 a.m.: criminal damaging. The windshield on a dark green 2009 Chevrolet Impala was reported damaged while parked in the 700 block of North Ohio Avenue. The damage is set at $300.

-7:01 a.m.: aggravated robbery. Police investigated an aggravated robbery report of the theft of a cellphone, valued at $100, and a wallet, containing $42 in cash and a photo ID, in the 200 block of Jefferson Street.

-2:26 a.m.: domestic violence. Melinda Jo Workman, 30, 2521 Apache Drive, was arrested for domestic violence.

-1:36 a.m.: unruly juvenile. A juvenile was served with an unruly charge after police conducted a missing juvenile investigation.

-12:31 a.m.: warrant. Brandon Michael Engley, 30, at large, was arrested on a warrant, obstructing official business and for possessing drugs.

FRIDAY

-10:13 p.m.: assault. Megan Jouce Walker, 19, 418 Franklin Ave., was arrested for assault.

-9:06 p.m.: theft. Sherry Howard, 51, 826 N. Main Ave., was arrested for theft without consent after Walmart on Michigan Street reported a shoplifting of $209.16 worth of merchandise from the business, which was recovered.

-6:42 p.m.: theft. The past theft of a Chase Bank debit card was reported stolen to the police.

-12:49 p.m.: criminal simulation. Police are investigating the report that a counterfeit $100 bill was received at Culver’s on Michigan Street.

-8:20 a.m.: warrant. Joshua L. Moore, 40, of Piqua, was arrested on a warrant.

THURSDAY

-7 p.m.: theft. A past theft of $153.02 was reported stolen at Subway on Wapakoneta Avenue.

-11:36 a.m.: theft. Miscellaneous tools, valued at $2,000, were reported stolen from a work vehicle in the 500 block of South West Avenue.

Crashes

Jessica Sowders, 31, 2248 Broadway Ave., was cited with obedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 7:32 p.m.

Sowders was traveling southbound on South Miami Avenue when she entered the intersection with East Court Street on a red light causing a westbound vehicle East Court Street to strike the left side of the Sowders’s vehicle.

The other vehicle was driven by Betty Bird, 46, of Quincy.

Sowders was transported by Sidney Fire Department to Wilson Health.

• Virdi Sing, 60, of Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada, was cited with starting and backing after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 10 a.m.

Sing missed the private drive for a truck parking lot on Vandemark Road and was attempting to back up to make the turn when the trailer of his semitrialer struck the passenger’s side of a vehicle at the stop sign on Daniel Drive at the intersection of Vandemark Road.

The other vehicle was driven by Elaine Counts, 71, 1843 Robert Place.

• Skyler M. Turnbill, 17, of Sidney, was cited with right of way at stop sign after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 4:57 p.m.

Turnbill was stopped facing the west when she failed to see and pulled forward from the stop sign and struck a northbound vehicle on Miami Avenue that was driven by Angela R. Wise, 40, 329 Park St.

• Josh R. Holman, 32, of Piqua, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a three-vehicle crash on Friday at 5:05 p.m.

Holman was traveling westbound on Fair Road when he struck the rear of the vehicle in front of him, driven by Harold W. Daniel, 65, 1835 Cheryl Place, which was slowing down for the stopped vehicle in front of him, driven by Daniel F. Blosser 25, of Piqua. The collision caused Daniel’s vehicle to strike the rear of Blosser’s vehicle.

• Amie Baker, 38, of Piqua, was cited for failing to yeild from a private drive after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 3:51 p.m.

Baker was exiting McDonald’s parking lot on Michigan Street headed north, when she struck the passenger’s side of an eastbound vehicle in the right lane on Michigan Street that was driven by Kathleen Wright, 70, of Houston.

• Dakota M. Wallace, 24, 308 E. Court St., was cited for an improper turn after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 2:45 p.m.

Wallace was traveling westbound East Court Street when she attempted to make a left hand turn into 325 E. Court St., and turned in front of an eastbound vehicle on East Court Street causing a collision with the vehicle driven by Chad L. Ritter, 40, 10701 Lochard Road.

• Zachary J. Buckmaster, 22, 849 S. Ohio Ave., was cited for failure to control after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 11:40 a.m.

Buckmaster was traveling southbound on Riverside Drive and was about to turn right onto Port Jefferson Road when he failed to control his vehicle on the wet roadway and struck the stopped vehicle on Port Jefferson Road at the intersection of Riverside Drive that was driven by Mary E. Turner, 77, 8344 Lochard Road.

• Alyssa L. Sims, 29, of Houston, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 9 a.m.

Sims was traveling eastbound on Fair Road when she did not stop in time for the stopped vehicle in front of her that was about to make a left turn and struck the rear of the vehicle driven by Joseph Edwards, 47, 10831 Hathaway Road.

• Toby Gilbert, 46, 215 Pomeroy Road, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at 1:38 p.m.

Gilbert was traveling southbound on Fourth Avenue when he did not stop in time for the stopped vehicle in front of him at the red light at Court Street and struck the left rear of the vehicle driven by Robbie Roe, 66, 18498 Johnston Road.

According to the police report, Gilbert told Roe he was going to Speedway but left the area. He was later located and cited.

• Ashaiah Moten, 16 of Sidney, was cited with failure to control and not having a driver’s license after a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 8:46 p.m.

Moten was traveling southbound on Broadway Avenue when she struck a vehicle that was parked halfway on the sidewalk in front of 919 Broadway Ave. that is owned by Tiffany D. Bradley, 919 Broadway Ave.

TUESDAY

-7 a.m.: carbon monoide. Firefighters conducted a carbon monoxide investigation.

-3:10 p.m.: crash. Medics responded to an automobile crash.

-1:05 a.m. to 3:23 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to six calls.

MONDAY

-5:47 p.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to a false fire alarm.

-12:58 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to a fire alarm at 333 E. North St. Food was burnt on the stove.

-8:31 a.m. to 9:33 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to five calls.

SUNDAY

-7:33 p.m.: crash. Medics responded to an automobile crash.

-1:25 to 5:27 p.m.: carbon monoide. Firefighters conducted two carbon monoxide investigations.

-11:36 a.m.: service call. Firefighters conducted a service call.

-5:05 a.m. to 10:42 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to 10 calls.

SATURDAY

-9:06 p.m.: gas leak. Firefighters responded to the report of a gas leak.

-11:39 a.m.: open burning. Firefighters conducted an open burn investigation. The fire was unauthorized.

-7:15 a.m.: assist. Medics responded to assist an individual.

-2:29 a.m. to 9:22 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to nine calls.

FRIDAY

-2:43 p.m.: crash. Crews responded to an automobile crash.

-2:42 to 3:08 p.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to two fire alarms.
