Police log

WEDNESDAY

-5:38 p.m.: failure to pay city taxes. Franky D. Sargent, 34, and Rachael Lou Sargent, 31, both of 1466 Constitution Ave., were served a summons for failing to pay city taxes. Police also issued a warrant to Franky.

-5:34 p.m.: failure to pay city taxes. James Jones, 45, 1210 University Drive, was served a summons for failing to pay city taxes.

-5:33 p.m.: failure to pay city taxes. Kent Francis Ryan, 45, 123 Shelby St., was served a summons for failing to pay city taxes.

-4:25 p.m.: theft. Several vehicles were reported to have been entered while parked at 430 E. Russell Road. Fifteen dollars was reported stolen out of one car. The theft five bottles of Mountain Dew soda pop, an Ohio scratch-off lottery ticket and $5 were reported stolen out of another vehicle.

-2:58 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A 14-year-old juvenile was arrested for being unruly.

-1:19 p.m.: violate protection order. Police are investigating a report of a breaking and entering, a protection order violation and the theft of a gas leaf blower, valued at $50, from a residence in the 500 block of Lincoln Street.

-12:45 p.m.: theft. Steven A. Alvarado, 25, 705 Taft Ave., was arrested for theft.

-10:56 a.m.: probation violation. Matthew Tucket, 37, 1533 Spruce Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

-8:50 a.m.: theft. James Ray Goings, 39, 521 Wagner Ave., was arrested for theft.

-7:10 a.m.: theft. The past theft of a $8 was reported stolen out of a maroon 2000 Ford Explorer which was parked at 1038 N. Miami Ave.

MONDAY

-2:16 p.m.: domestic violence. Aaron Feasel, 21, 1527 E. Court Street, was arrested for domestic violence.

Crashes

Seven Wise, 16, of Sidney, was cited with failure to control after a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 7:13 a.m.

Wise was traveling northbound on North West Avenue when she failed to control her vehicle and hit a parked vehicle facing the south on North West Avenue.

The other vehicle is owned by Timothy LeMaster, 519 N. West Ave.

• Kendra Driscoll, 36, 813 Arrowhead Drive, was cited with failure to control after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 2:47 p.m.

Driscoll was operating a bus owned by Sidney Church of the Nazarene daycare and was parked behind a city of Sidney Dial A Ride bus facing the west in front of Holy Angels School on East Water Street.When Driscoll was attempting to pull away after picking up children, the bus clipped the left rear corner of the Dial A Ride bus.

The transit bus was driven by Mitchell Perry, 68, 230 New Columbia Blvd.

• David Murphy, 67, 843 E. Court St., was cited with right of way turning left after a two-vehicle crash on Monday at 12:50 p.m.

Murphy was attempting to make a left hand turn from a private drive at Emerson Climate Technologies on Campbell Road when she failed to see and struck a westbound vehicle on Campbell Road that was driven by Kathleen M. Lamber, 56, 1133 Colonial Drive.
