MONDAY

-5:18 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A juvenile was arrested for being unruly after being reported missing.

-4:42 p.m.: theft. A jewelry box, valued at $100, and $5,000 worth of jewelry was reported stolen from 1552 Michigan St.

-3:52 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A juvenile was arrested for being unruly and not returning home.

-7:45 a.m.: forgery. Police are investigating a report a fake $50 was received at Clark Gas station on West Court Street.

-1:21 a.m.: driving under OVI suspension. Tyler Grooms, 21, 1209 Hilltop Ave., Apt. A, was arrested for driving under OVI suspension.

SUNDAY

-10:49 p.m.: forgery. Police are investigating a report that counterfeit money in the amount of $100 was received at Burger King on Michigan Street.

-7:52 p.m.: illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. A juvenile was arrested for possessing drug paraphernalia. Police seized a Pepsi can with marijuana residue on it.

-7:27 p.m.: lost property. A wallet was reported lost while at Kroger on Michigan Street that contained $100, a driver’s license and a Social Security card.

-5:49 p.m.: theft. The theft of three Social Security checks, for a total amount of $1,000, was reported stolen from 101 S. Pomeroy Ave.

-3:08 p.m.: criminal damaging. Damage to wood privacy fence at 111 E. Bennett St. was reported to the police. The damage is set at $100.

-11:47 a.m.: criminal damaging. Someone known was reported to have slashed a tire and damaged a rear license plate on a 2015 red Kia before leaving the property of 743 Clinton Ave.

SATURDAY

-11:21 p.m.: contempt. Cody Shane Hurst, 29, 606 N. Main Ave., was arrested on an outstanding contempt warrant.

-9:02 p.m.: theft. Jody Lynn Napier-Bunnell, 47, 522 1/2 E. Court St., was arrested for theft after Walmart on Michigan Street reported the theft of merchandise in the amount of $647.28.

-7:54 p.m.: possession of drugs. A police investigation is underway after suspected drugs was found in a room at a residential facility on Buckeye Avenue.

-4:52 p.m.: aggravated menacing. Gary R. Bryant, 59, 623 Mohican Court, was arrested for aggravated menacing.

-4:45 p.m.: theft. Erica Shannon Brant, 33, 6018 Jackson Road, was arrested for theft after Walmart on Michigan Street reported the theft of merchandise in the amount of $162.32. The merchandise was recovered.

-1:26 p.m.: theft. A Matthew Solo bow, valued at $300, was reported stolen out of a 1986 dark blue GMC truck while parked at 2355 Collins Ave.

-10:05 a.m.: forgery. Police are investigating a report of fraud that occurred at Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken on Wapakoneta Avenue.

FRIDAY

-10:29 p.m.: warrant. Calvin E. Sutton, 56, 821 Arrowhead Drive., Apt. 1, was arrested on an active warrant.

-9:19 p.m.: assault. A juvenile was arrested for assault.

-5:50 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A juvenile was arrested for being unruly after being reported missing.

-5:02 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A 15-year-old female was charged with being unruly.

-3:44 p.m.: warrant. Felisha Rose Mitchell, 27, 531 Third Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

-10:01 a.m.: warrant. Amy M. Hammons, 33, at large, was arrested on a warrant.

Nov. 7

-7:09 p.m.: assault. A 14-year-old male was arrested for assault.

-6:16 p.m.: theft. A coin collection in the amount of $30, an iPhone, valued at $50, as well as an ashtray full of change in the amount of $50 was stolen out of a black 2006 Cadillac while parked at 1412 Garfield Ave.

-3:44 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A 14-year-old male was arrested for being unruly after he was reported to habitually not return home after school.

Crashes

Matthew S. Snider, 35, of Troy, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 1:12 p.m.

Snider was traveling northbound on Wapakoneta Avenue when he rear-ended the vehicle in front of him that was stopped in traffic at Pinehurst Street.

The other vehicle was driven by Robert L. Woodell, 35, 17510 Fort Loramie Swanders Road.

• Stephan M. Hall, 38, 301 Robinhood Ave., was cited with a 12-point suspension violation after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 5:02 p.m.

Hall was backing out of a parking space at Walmart on Michigan Street when he struck the rear driver’s side quarter panel of a stopped vehicle stopped at the end of an isle in the parking lot that was waiting to turn on the main traffic isle.

The other vehicle was driven by Janet L. Westerbeck, 50, 17730 Fort Loramie Swanders Road.

• Kindal Spadlin, 22, 10970 Cisco Road was arrested for OVI and was cited with failure to control after a single-vehicle crash on Saturday at 4:26 a.m.

Spadlin was traveling westbound in the 700 block of Countryside Lane when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a mailbox at 731 Countryside Lane and then the residence of 735 Countryside Lane.

• No citation was issued following a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 4:17 p.m.

Brian J. Ramge, 35, 1521 Miami Conservancy Road, was operating a Sidney firetruck eastbound on Grove Street when in the process of turning north onto St. Marys Avenue he sideswiped the left, rear of the southbound vehicle on St. Mary’s Avenue that was driven by Duncan S. Ankrom, 30, 536 1/2 Franklin Ave. According to the police report, a piece of equipment on the left side of the firetruck is what struck Ankrom’s vehicle.

• Joanna M. Thomas, 33, 981 Buckeye Ave., was cited with an operation without reasonable control citation after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 10:03 a.m.

Thomas was traveling westbound on Russell Road attempting to make a left turn onto Vandemark Road when he slid during the turn and hit the northbound vehicle on Vandemark Road that was approaching Russell Road.

The other vehicle was driven by Jerry W. Hatfield, 66, 9165 Pasco Montra Road.

TUESDAY

-12:57 a.m. to 6:18 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to three calls.

MONDAY

-12:43 a.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to 409 Jefferson St. on the report smoke was in the house.

-12:34 a.m. to 11:10 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to nine calls.

SUNDAY

-7:30 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to Pizza Hut on East Russell Road on the report smoke was in the building.

-1:26 p.m.: crash. Medics responded to the report of a crash.

-1:39 a.m. to 6:11 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to seven calls.

SATURDAY

-4:39 p.m.: crash. Crews responded to a report an automobile crashed into a house.

-10:41 a.m. to 7:14 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to eight calls.

FRIDAY

-6:35 p.m.: standby. Medics were on standby for a Sidney High School football game.

-6:26 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to 2335 Collins Ave. for a stove fire.

4:10 to 7:19 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.
