In Sidney Municipal Court Thursday, Judge Duane Goettemoeller handled the following cases:

• Cowboy D. Brown, 59, 21487 Meeranda Road, Maplewood, entered a guilty plea to a reduced charge of lighted lights required. He had been charged with a right of way/stop/yield sign violation. He was fined $150 and court costs of $105.

• Kimberly A. Nichols, 23, 861 S. Miami Ave., assured clear distance, $25 fine, $111 costs.

• Ada Bumgardner, 68, 704 Broadway St., failure to control/weaving, $25 fine, $111 costs.

In court Wednesday, Goettemoeller handled the following cases:

• Timothy J. Sapp, 28, 213 E. North St., drug abuse, $138 costs.

• James R. Goings, 36, 627 E. Court St., theft, $200 fine and $138 costs. A second charge of theft was dismissed.

• James A. Castle, 18, 133 Oldham Ave., drug abuse, $1,000 fine with $850 suspended, $118 costs. He was ordered to undergo counseling.

• Bailey S. Creekmore, 18, 1064 Hazel Nut Lane, drug abuse, $1,000 fine with $85 suspended, $118 costs and counseling was ordered.

• Jerry S. Swiger, 620 Arrowhead Drive, prohibited parking places, $76 bond, $10 costs.

• Melissa S. Bellman, 35, 408 Debra Drive, Botkins, seatbelt, $30 fine, $92 costs.

• Andrew R. Gepfrey, 24, 10223 Meranda Road, Anna, speed, $30 fine, $111 costs.
