MONDAY

-4:25 p.m.: probation violation. Tijuana Mitchell, 47, 532 N. Miami Ave., was arrested on an active warrant.

-4:01 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A juvenile was charged with being unruly.

-12:29 p.m.: theft. Adrian Gregory, 32, at large, was arrested on two counts of theft.

SUNDAY

-10:07 p.m.: theft. The theft of three bags, valued at $20, five boxes, valued at $20, and a storage tower, valued at $10, were reported stolen from FISH Community Thrift store on Michigan Street.

-7:02 p.m.: criminal damaging. A glass door, valued at $200, and a front door, valued at $100, were reported damaged at 632 Linden Ave.

-4:31 p.m.: assault. Justina L. Boggs, 27, at large, was arrested for assault.

-1:06 p.m.: theft. A yellow and black DeWalt tool bag, valued at $10, a 20-volt DeWalt drill, valued at $100, five 20-volt DeWalt batteries, valued at $100, and a 20-volt DeWalt impact driver, valued at $100, were reported stolen from a white 1999 Ford truck while parked in the 100 block of Hill Avenue.

-1:02 p.m.: unruly juvenile. Police are investigating a report that a juvenile is habitually disobedient.

-1:25 a.m.: disorderly conduct. Sidney Lynn Miller, 25, of Columbia, Pennsylvania, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

SATURDAY

-11:36 p.m.: warrant. Lawrence Andrew Watkins, 32, 239 Walnut Ave., was arrested on a Miami County warrant.

-8:55 p.m.: criminal damaging. Two window panes, valued at $500, were reported damaged at 128 N. Pomeroy Ave.

-12:56 p.m.: criminal simulation. The Clark gas station on West Court Street reported receiving a fake $50. A police investigation is ongoing.

-2:37 a.m.: driving under the influence. Shane W. Brining, 34, 7785 Hardin Wapak Road, was arrested for OVI and OVI refusal breath with prior DUI.

FRIDAY

-5 p.m.: theft. The theft of man’s black wallet, containing $3, a driver’s license, and a credit card was reported stolen from 236 Jefferson St., Apt. 2.

-3:58 p.m.: OVI. Shawn Jacob Buck, 33, 712 Countryside Lane, Apt. 12, was arrested for OVI and driving under FRA suspension.

-11:30 a.m.: criminal damaging.An arrow was reported to have been shot into a piece of metal siding at the residence of 830 Spruce Ave. The damage is set at $50.

THURSDAY

-8 p.m.: forgery. Police investigated an alleged forgery at Speedway on Michigan Street.

-4:07 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report of a possible stolen 2001 Dodge, valued at $15,000, while parked at 1213 Hill Top Ave.

Nov. 21

-6:13 p.m.: theft. Amie J. Baker, 38, of Piqua, was arrested for theft after Walmart on Michigan Street reported the theft of merchandise in the amount of $54.69.

Crashes

Amanda Partika, 20, 13150 County Road 25A, was cited with right of way at private drive after a two-vehicle crash on Monday at 5:11 p.m.

Partika was exiting a parking lot onto Wapakoneta Avenue in the 2700 block when she struck a vehicle that was pulling into that same parking lot from the south on Wapakoneta Avenue.

The other vehicle was driven by Dawn M. Mabry, 46, of Jackson Center.

• John Neargarder, 36, of Greenville, was cited with rules for turning at an intersection after a two-vehicle crash on Monday at 8:35 a.m.

Neargarder was traveling southbound on North Ohio Avenue in the right lane of travel when he attempted to turn left onto Canal Street and was struck by the southbound vehicle on North Ohio Avenue in the left lane that was driven Dianna S. Reisinger, 60, 257 Genini St.

• Brandon W. Vestal, 35, 108 E. Russell Road, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 1:24 p.m.

Vestal was traveling westbound on Michigan Street when he struck the rear of the stopped vehicle in front of him that was driven by Lisa M. Spaugy, 48, 2190 Westminster Drive.

• Larry S. Sidner, 69, of St. Paris, was cited with obedience to traffic control devises after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 3:07 p.m.

Sidner was traveling eastbound on state Route 29 when, according to the police report, he and another eastbound vehicle on state Route 29 both attempted to travel in the same lane and struck the side mirrors on each vehicle.

The other vehicle was driven by Jerika E. Eperson, 27, of Port Jefferson.

• John S. Getsov, 56, of Grosse Point F, Michigan, was cited with a lane change violation after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 11:47 a.m.

Getsov was traveling northbound in the right lane on Interstate 75 near mile marker 91 when he went into the left lane and struck the northbound vehicle in left lane that was driven by Claire B. Cooper, 24, of Okemos, Michigan.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-1:51 a.m. to 3:04 p.m.: medical. Crews from Sidney, Piqua, Troy and Perry Port Salem responded to eight calls so that members of Sidney Fire Department could attend the viewing services of Sidney Fire Lt. Anthony “Tony” McLain, who passed away last Wednesday, Nov. 21.

-10:34 p.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to a false fire alarm.

-6:29 p.m.: carbon monoxide. Crews conducted a carbon monoxide investigation.

-2:23 p.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to a false fire alarm at 3003 Cisco Ave.

-9:53 a.m. to 10:55 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to five calls.

-6:2o a.m. to 11:45 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to eight calls.

SATURDAY

-2:49 a.m.: structure fire. Firefighters conducted an open burn investigation.

-12:04 a.m. to 10:38 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to 13 calls. One was cancelled en route.

-6:29 p.m.: carbon monoxide. Firefighters conducted a carbon monoxide investigation.

-5 p.m.: odor. Crews conducted a odor investigation at 532 N. Miami Ave.

-7:32 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to a call.

A vehicle crashed into a guardrail in the northbound lane of Interstate 75 at mile marker 92 Tuesday morning around 11 a.m. The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the crash. No one was hurt in the single-vehicle crash.
