FRIDAY

-12:02 a.m.: criminal damaging. A damaged windshield on a a black 2005 Honda Pilot in the 2400 block of Wapakoneta Avenue was reported to the police. The damage is set at $100.

THURSDAY

-3:37 p.m.: found property. A birth certificate and a vehicle title was found at Walmart on Michigan Street and was turned into the police department.

-10:55 a.m.: warrant. Franklin Delano Christian, 32, 980 Wagner Ave.. was arrested on a warrant.

-10:55 a.m.: warrant. Daniel David Tamplin, 30, 1221 Park St.. was arrested on a warrant.

-10:43 a.m.: warrant. Melvin M. Martin, 46, 805 N. Ohio Ave.. was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

-8:19 a.m.: found property. Fake money was found in an Enterprise Rent-A-Car vehicle that had been returned to the business on South Stolle Avenue and was turned into the police department.

Crashes

April A. Stammen, 16, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at 5:44 p.m.

Stammen was traveling southbound on South Ohio Street when she told police she was unable to stop in time and struck the rear of the stopped vehicle in front of her at the traffic light at East Court Street that was driven by Ronald L. Vanhorn, 74, 3100 Jason Way.
