FRIDAY

-4:03 a.m.: parole violation. Police arrested Eric Wolf, 28, 411 Tow Path Trail, Piqua, on a warrant.

THURSDAY

-7:59 p.m.: burglary. Curtis Watson Jr., 40, 128 1/2 Pomeroy Ave., reported someone stole a 1975 Blue Bird Guitar and a black gator case. The investigation continues.

-4:05 p.m.: criminal damaging. Vickey Strunk, 56, 2431 W. Cisco Road, reported someone keyed the driver’s side door of her vehicle.

-2:58 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Dustin Williams, 29, 103 Rosebud Circle, Jackson Center, on a contempt warrant.

-2:17 p.m.: probation violation. Police arrested Derek Roediger, 26, 309 Monroe St., for a probation violation and transported him to the Shelby County Jail.

-8:44 a.m.: criminal trespass. Angie Opperman, 41, 627 Addy Ave., reported someone had entered her property sometime the night before without permission.

WEDNESDAY

-6:27 p.m.: theft. Sidney Foodtown reported the theft of candy bars. A 13-year-old girl was arrested for theft in connection with this incident.

-1:16 a.m.: breaking and entering. Sharon Bergman, 50, 856 S. Miami Ave., reported someone damaged the exterior doorknob, house key and key lockbox at her residence.

JAN. 8

-3:25 p.m.: theft. Meera Good, 39, 1001 Fourth Ave., Apt. 44, reported an unknown person stole her EBT card from her house. She advised she would provide the card number at a later time. The case is pending investigation once the number is received.

Accidents

Brian Haney, 19, 925 McKinley Ave., was cited with failure to maintain an assured clear distance after an accident Wednesday at 3:07 p.m.

Haney was westbound on Park Street and tried to stop for traffic stopped ahead of him, but his auto slid on ice and hit the rear of a van. The driver of the van was Douglas Richards, 48, 745 Grandview St.

• Justin Argabright, 32, 121 W. Poplar St., Apt. 304, was cited with failure to maintain an assured clear distance after an accident Wednesday at 5:11 p.m.

Argabright was westbound on Michigan Street and hit the rear of an auto that was stopped at a traffic light at Vandemark Road. The driver of the other auto was Britney Spaugy, 24, 2513 Alpine Court.

• Donald Sharp, 26, 1011 Hayes St., was cited for assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Tuesday at 4:03 p.m.

Sharp was traveling eastbound on Russell Road, approaching Wapakoneta Avenue, when he failed to stop and struck a vehicle in the rear that was stopped in traffic. The driver of the other vehicle was Kenneth Hunter, 60, 2325 N. Broadway Ave.

• Brian Mantor, 38, 7711 Stoker Road, was cited for failure to control after an accident on Monday at 1:41 p.m.

Mantor was turning westbound onto Russell Road from St. Marys Avenue when he struck a vehicle that was stopped in traffic eastbound on Russell Road. The driver of the other vehicle was Justin LaFollette, 34, of Union.

FRIDAY

-12:36 to 1:14 a.m.: Medics responded to two calls.

THURSDAY

-6:16 to 11:06 p.m.: Medics responded to four calls.

-2:24 p.m.: Firefighters responded to the 100 block of North Main Avenue for a fire in the parking lot.

-1:51 p.m.: Crews responded to the 1500 block of North Main Avenue for a fire alarm.

-10:46 a.m. to 1:41 p.m.: Medics responded to five calls.

-8:38 a.m.: fluid cleanup. Firefighters were called to the intersection of Russell Road and Fourth Avenue to clean up fluid from a vehicle.

-4:18 to 5:34 a.m.: Medics responded to four calls.

WEDNESDAY

-3:05 to 7:04 p.m.: Medics responded to four calls.
