TROY — Miami County Common Pleas Court Judge Christopher Gee sentenced Zyler White, 23, of Sidney, to serve three years in prison for second degree felony assault for his role in a bar fight on May 1, 2015, in Troy.

White entered a plea of no contest to the indictment and was found guilty by the court in previous court hearings.

White, along with co-defendant Dezmond Hudson, 22, of Sidney, injured two other bar patrons with broken glass at The Brewery on May 1. Hudson originally entered a plea of no contest for the same charge of second degree felonious assault, but withdrew the motion at his sentencing hearing on Monday.

Hudson’s hearing to withdraw his no content plea was set for 10 a.m. Feb. 16.
