FRIDAY

-8:30 a.m.: probation violation. Lura D. Bailey, 33, of Troy, was arrested on an outstanding probation violation warrant.

THURSDAY

-10:36 a.m.: criminal damaging. A wooden door frame, valued at $100, was reported damaged at 744 N. Main Ave.

-10:30 a.m.: contempt. Stevens G. Sowards, 42, 804 Foraker Ave., was arrested on a warrant.

Crashes

Tyler C. Brown, 29, 8541 Greenville Road, was cited assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.

Brown was traveling eastbound on state Route 47 when he struck the stopped vehicle in traffic in front of him that was driven by Terry C. Lenz, 52, 17161 Sunset Drive.

• Caleb D. Schutte, 16, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a three-vehicle crash on Thursday at 4:34 p.m.

Schutte was traveling westbound on Michigan Street when he stuck the rear of the vehicle in front of him that was driven by Belinda A. Stockton, 47, 1331 Park St. The collision caused Stockton’s vehicle to strike the rear of the vehicle in front of her that was driven by Beverly A. Brown, 66, of Piqua.

• Tonia N. Jones, 39, 2109 Westminster Drive, was cited with failure to control after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at 3 a.m.

Jones was traveling northbound in the 1900 block of North Main Avenue when she sideswiped an unoccupied, parked vehicle owned by Gregory A. Gunnell, 330 Kossuth St. Jones’s vehicle then rolled onto the driver’s side.

• Mathew Young, 35, 1222 Grove St., was cited with starting and backing vehicles after a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 1:51 p.m.

Young was parked on West North Street but failed to see the eastbound vehicle on West North Street that was driven by Melissa Wilson, 40, 318 Linden Ave., and struck Wilson’s vehicle’s right front door when pulling into the lane of travel.

• Aurkell D.S. Martin, 17, Sidney, was cited with operating a vehicle without reasonable control after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 3:43 p.m.

Martin was traveling eastbound on East Water Street when he struck the rear of a parked vehicle in front of 215 E. Water St. and then left the scene. Martin was later located and cited by police.

The other vehicle is owned by Kelly M. Richey, 215 E. Water St.

Fire, rescue

FRIDAY

-5:51 a.m.: carbon monoxide. Firefighters conducted a carbon monoxide investigation. No CO was detected.

-2:16 to 4:54 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to three calls.

THURSDAY

-5:39 p.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to a false fire alarm.

-8:44 a.m. to 8:26 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to nine calls.

-2:59 a.m.: crash. Crews responded to an automobile crash.

WEDNESDAY

-4:40 p.m.: service call. Firefighters conducted a service call.

-3:47 to 11:13 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to eight calls.
