MONDAY

-7:11 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Desean Ward, 20, of Bellefontaine, on an active warrant.

-4:24 p.m.: probation violation. Police arrested Jerry Emert, 72, 333 E. North St., Apt. 308, on a probation violation warrant.

-8:15 a.m.: found property. A yellow and black flashlight was found in the 400 block of East Edgewood Street and placed into evidence.

-1:08 a.m.: warrant service. Police arrested David Slife, 28, 236 Jefferson St., Apt. 8, for an active warrant out of Shelby County.

SUNDAY

-10:14 p.m.: theft. Charles Herring, 32, 825 Clinton, reported an unknown person took two black and tan dogs out of his yard.

-7:25 p.m.: obstructing official business. Police arrested Patwaun Hudson, 20, of Troy, for obstruction on South West Avenue at West Water Street

-7:17 p.m.: warrant service. Police arrested Collin Sharp, 27, 302 ½ S. Walnut Ave., on an outstanding warrant.

-2:47 a.m.: warrant service. Police arrested Joshua Fisher, 33, 2255 Fair Road, on an active warrant out of Champaign County and operating a vehicle under the influence.

-12:28 a.m.: operating a vehicle under the influence. Police arrested Jeremy Spillers, 41, of Minster, in the 2400 block of Michigan Street for operating a vehicle under the influence and refusal of Breathalyzer with prior DUI.

SATURDAY

-6:42 p.m.: breaking and entering. Charles White III, 33, 620 S. Ohio Ave., reported someone broke into his garage and stole some tools.

-5:40 p.m.: warrant service. Police arrested Lucas Jones, 35, 720 Michigan St., on an outstanding warrant out of Logan County. A syringe and an empty capsule with drug residue was recovered during the arrest.

-5:19 p.m.: abandoning animals. Police arrested Mikaila Johnston, 20, 620 S. Main Ave., on an active warrant charging abandoning animals.

-4:18 p.m.: lost property. Karen Stocker, 70, 906 Campbell Road, reported losing her set of four keys while at Kroger.

-10:44 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Dustin Anderson, 26, 617 ½ N. Main Ave., on a warrant.

-9:45 a.m.: found property. A wallet belonging to Terry Carns, 22, of Tipp City, was found and turned into police. Attempts to return the wallet were unsuccessful.

-7:54 a.m.: found property. A safe that was broken open was located at Lowes on Michigan Street, and placed in the police department garage.

FRIDAY

-11:29 p.m.: domestic violence. Police arrested Dustin Brown, 34, 422 Riverside Drive, for domestic violence.

-11:21 p.m.: theft. Kathleen Fuston, 22, 2325 Collins Drive, Apt. G, reported someone stole her debit card and used it without permission.

-5:02 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Nathaniel Heffner, 42, 515 Karen Ave., on a contempt warrant.

-2:12 p.m.: probation violation. Police arrested Coy Peters, 24, of Wapakoneta, on a probation violation warrant out of Sidney Municipal Court.

-11:37 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Millard Green, 26, of Lima, on a contempt warrant out of Sidney Municipal Court.

-11:27 a.m.: theft. Ralph Riddle, 83, 516 N. Ohio Ave., reported the theft of a check book.

THURSDAY

-12:27 p.m.: theft. Police arrested Angela Myers, 40, 514 W. North St., for shoplifting at Dollar General on West Court Street.

Accidents

Robert Goings, 41, 211 Forest Ave., was transported to Wilson Hospital Emergency Room by Sidney Fire and Rescue for incapacitating injuries after an accident on Monday at 7:19 p.m.

Goings was traveling on a bicycle eastbound on North Street on the north side of the roadway. As he was crossing the intersection at West Avenue, a vehicle traveling northbound on West Avenue failed to see him and struck him.

The driver of the other vehicle was Dara Inman, 40, 1114 Campbell Road. This accident is still being investigated.

• Steven Brun, 23, 310 N. Ohio Ave., was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control and leaving the scene of an accident after an accident on Monday at 1 a.m.

Brun was traveling westbound on Ruth Street when he struck a parked vehicle facing eastbound in front of 419 E. Ruth St. Brun left the area but was later located, identified, and charged.

• Derik Bey, 30, 1993 Dingman Slagle Road, was cited for failure to control after an accident on Sunday at 4:18 p.m.

Bey was traveling eastbound on West Court Street when he lost control on the snow covered roadway and struck the CSX Railroad overpass abutment.

• Colleen Brunswick, 18, 2634 Broadway Avenue, was cited for failure to control after an accident on Saturday at 12:11 a.m.

Brunswick was traveling northbound on West Parkwood when she lost control on the ice and struck the mailbox for 613 W. Parkwood St.

• Marvin Kishler, 67, of Van Wert, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Friday at 5:33 p.m.

Kishler was traveling southbound on North Ohio Avenue at East North Street when he slid on the snow as he was breaking, causing him to collide with a vehicle in front of him stopped at the light.

The driver of the other vehicle was Carolyn Pemberton, 64, of Piqua.

• Megan Marvin, 24, of Hillsboro, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Friday at 4:34 p.m.

Marvin was traveling on East Court Street at Miami Avenue when she failed to stop and slid and hit a vehicle in front of her, causing that vehicle to hit a vehicle in front of it.

The drivers of the other two vehicles were Nicole Robinson, 32, 1507 E. Court St., Apt. D, and Janetta Gallagher, 60, 603 Michigan St.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-11:12 a.m. to 12:24 p.m.: Medics responded to two calls.

-6:25 a.m.: Crews responded to Kuther Road and Mill Creek Road for an accident with injuries.

-4:30 a.m.: Medics responded to a call.

MONDAY

-9:11 to 10:17 p.m.: Medics responded to three calls.

-7:37 p.m.: Crews responded to North Street at West Avenue for a car v. bicycle accident.

-3:12 to 6:29 p.m.: Medics responded to six calls.

-1:55 p.m.: Crews responded to Interstate 75 mile marker 94 for an auto accident. No incident was found on arrival.

-12:42 to 1:10 p.m.: Medics responded to two calls.

-9:10 a.m.: Crews responded to North Highland Avenue and North Street on an outside natural gas odor. Vectren was notified.

-2:20 a.m.: Medics responded to a call.

SUNDAY

-6:36 p.m.: Medics responded to a call.

-4:58 p.m.: Crews responded to the 2300 block of Fair Road for an auto accident with injuries.

-12:47 to 3:51 p.m.: Medics responded to two calls.
