In Sidney Municipal Court Wednesday, Judge Duane Goettemoeller heard the following cases:

• Mitchell D. Hudson, 43, 1060 N. Miami Ave., drug abuse, $150 fine, $138 costs, license suspended Feb. 17 to Aug. 15, 2016.

• Kaitlin Kerentsew, 19, 827 S. Ohio, attempted assault, amended from domestic violence, no contest to reduced charges, sentenced to 90 days in jail with two day credit.

• Derrick E. Selhorst, 35, Sidney, passing bad checks, $250 fine, $128 costs; passing bad checks, $250 fine, $10 costs; and passing bad checks, $250 fine, $138 costs.

• Angel G. Curl, 36, 705 N. Main Ave., no operator’s license, expired, $25 fine, $111 costs.

• Sheena M. Martin, 29, 10765 Millcreek Road, expired license plates, $25 fine, $111 costs.

• Jamie Zaragoza, 60, 429 1/2 Ohio Ave., driving under suspension/financial responsibility, $250 fine, $111 costs, license intervention program unsuccessful.

• Donald Sharp, 26, 1011 Hayes St., driving under suspension/financial responsibility, $75 fine, $101 costs, probation; assured clear distance, $25 fine, $10 costs.

A Sidney man was sentenced to 30 days in jail Tuesday by Goettemoeller.

Christopher R. Righenzi, 23, 411 S. Main Ave., was sentenced on an assault charge. He was fined $160 and $128 in court costs. He will be placed on probation after serving his sentence in the Shelby County Jail and was also ordered to attend anger and rage management classes and pay restitution.

A second assault charge was dismissed by the court. He was ordered to pay $10 in court costs.
