TUESDAY
-9:24 a.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to 7566 Stoker Road in Washington Township on the report of the theft of rims.
MONDAY
-5:33 p.m.: assist other unit. Deputies responded to South Ohio Avenue at East South Street in Clinton Township to assist Sidney Police with a traffic stop.
-5:23 p.m.: threats and harassment. Deputies responded to 8240 State Route 66 in Cynthian Township on the report of threats.
SATURDAY
-5:06 p.m.: assist other unit. Deputies responded to Hardin Road at Miami Shelby Road in Washington Township on the report a man allegedly pulled out a weapon on workers.
According to a report from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred in Miami County. DP&L workers called law enforcement after a property owner was angry they were parked on his property cutting trees down along the power lines, the report said. The property owner allegedly went into his house, grabbed a handgun and fired a single shot into the air and then continued to brandish the weapon. The workers left the scene and called into dispatch.
-4:07 p.m.: burglary. Deputies were dispatched to 5544 Smith Road in Loramie Township on the report the garage was broken-into and the door was busted.
FRIDAY
-9:52 p.m.: property damage crash. Deputies responded to the 9000 block of Thompson Schiff Road in Franklin Township on the report rocks and sticks were allegedly thrown at the caller’s vehicle.
-5:19 p.m.: investigate complaint. Deputies investigated a scam complaint at 15866 McCartyville Road in Van Buren Township.
-3:03 p.m.: assist other unit. Deputies responded to assist the Municipal Court at 18100 Rickway Drive in Salem Township.
