MONDAY

-8:48 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Michael Davis, 69, of Dayton, on a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

-1:09 p.m.: probation violation. Police arrested Kimberly R. Green, 48, 503 Sycamore Ave., on a probation violation.

-11:46 a.m.: assault. Marilyn Knief, 1011 Hayes St., reported she was assaulted in an altercation with a person. She had an apparent minor injury.

-10:21 a.m.: unruly juvenile. A juvenile left Sidney Middle School without permission. The juvenile was later found.

-9:44 a.m.: property found. A bicycle was found abandoned in the area of Railroad Street and Wilkinson Avenue.

-2:28 a.m.: theft. Jeramy Risdon, 629 N. West Ave., reported the theft of a bicycle, valued at $100.

-12:01 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Dillion Cornett, 22, 215 S. West Ave., on a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

SUNDAY

-9:07 p.m.: warrant. Police arrested Russel Del Williamson, 21, 627 N. West Ave., on a warrant from Logan County.

-6:22 p.m.: theft. Some people were reported to be living in an upstairs apartment at 510 N. Main Ave., Apt. B, that was supposed to be vacant. The property is owned by Kevin Scott, 6425 Botkins Road, New Knoxville.

-3:49 p.m.: criminal damaging. A window in a building at Julia Lamb Park was damaged. Loss was $100.

SATURDAY

-8:38 p.m.: domestic violence. Police arrested Amanda Roll, 36, 1257 Turner Drive, on a charge of domestic violence. She allegedly assaulted Heidi Roll, 35, of the same address. The alleged victim had an apparent minor injury.

-8:31 p.m.: driving under the influence. Police arrested Racheal E. Potter, 33, 302 S. Walnut Ave., at Main Avenue and Poplar Street on a charge of driving under the influence.

-6:45 p.m.: unruly juvenile. Police investigated a juvenile problem at a Sidney residence.

-6:14 p.m.: assault. A man reported his 14-year-old son was assaulted by another juvenile.

-6:13 p.m.: theft. Police were called to Family Dollar, 1024 Wapakoneta Ave. Store personnel said a person put items in his pocket. When personnel questioned him, he emptied his pickets and fled from the store. Police checked the area, but were unable to find the suspect.

-1:36 p.m.: theft. Dylan Davis, 101 First St., Russia, reported a temporary license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the Walmart parking.

-11:40 a.m.: assault and domestic violence. Police were called to 347 E. Court St. on a report of a large altercation involving family and friends.

-9:43 a.m.: theft. Arbys restaurant reported the theft of $200 by an unknown person.

-1:44 a.m.: driving under the influence. Police arrested Daniel J. Brulport, 26, 803 N. Miami Ave., at 1400 Michigan St. on a charge of driving under the influence.

-1:01 a.m.: probation violation. Police arrested Jacob M. Lewis, 27, 128 1/2 N. Pomeroy Ave., on a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

FRIDAY

-8:11 p.m.: theft. Tasha Grimm, 718 Kathy Ave., reported a trampoline, valued at $100, was stolen from her yard.

-6:31 p.m.: theft. Brandon Van Hook, 1527 E. Court St., Apt. J, reported cleaning supplies, valued at $170, were stolen from the 800 block of North Main Avenue.

-5:47 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Michael S. Ritchie, 38, Spruce Avenue, on a warrant through Sidney Municipal Court.

-4:23 p.m.: misuse of credit card. Pamela Pinson, 1936 Fair Oaks Drive, reported someone obtained her debit card information and used it.

-4:08 p.m.: property found. A debit card was found and given to police.

-3:18 p.m.: theft. Gary R. Bryant, 623 Mohican Court, reported the theft of a cell phone, valued at $100, from Sidney Middle School.

-1:26 p.m.: property found. A bicycle was found and given to police.

-10:13 a.m.: warrant. Police arrested Brandon Hughes, 19, 747 Chestnut Ave., on a warrant and he was transported to Miami County.

-8:31 a.m.: unruly juvenile. A woman reported a juvenile refused to follow the house rules.

-8:24 a.m.: property found. A bicycle was found and given to police.

THURSDAY

-2:43 p.m.: misuse of credit card. Caroline Hopkins, 1620 Holly Place, reported someone misused her credit card numbers.

FEB. 16

-9:30 p.m.: possession of drugs. Police found four heroin capsules at a Sidney address. Investigation is continuing.

FEB. 15

-5:49 p.m.: criminal trespass. Travis Freisthler, 1709 Timberidge Lane, reported trespassing at his residence.

Accidents

Darrell G. Gilmore, 54, 1215 Hamilton Court, was cited with driving under the influence and failure to control after an accident Monday at 2:34 a.m.

Gilmore was westbound in the 1200 block of Riverbend Boulevard, lost control of his car, and hit the parked auto of Larry Kelly, 1238 Riverbend Blvd.

• Brandon Van Hook, 23, 1527 E. Court St. Apt. J, was cited with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving under suspension after an accident Sunday at 7:45 a.m.

Van Hook pulled from a driveway at 1465 E. Court St. and turned into the path of a car that was eastbound on Court and hit it. Van Hook then left the scene, parked in the parking lot, and went into an apartment. The driver of the other car was David A. Brisker, 52, 1311 Mapleleaf Court.

• Cathy L. Burch, 67, 2801 Broadway Ave., was cited with failure to control after an accident Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 1:53 p.m.

Burch, driving a Shelby Public Transit vehicle, was attempting to park in the 200 block of Brooklyn Avenue and hit the parked pickup truck of Freddy Mertz, 10842 Mohawk Court.

• Larry G. Withrow, 57, 22445 LeFevre Road, Maplewood, was cited with improper backing after an accident Thursday, Feb. 18, at 9:39 a.m.

Withrow, driving a pickup truck with a snowplow on the front, backed from a parking space in the 100 block of North Ohio Avenue and clipped the right rear of a parked pickup truck owned by Arthur Goings, 1421 Carol St.

• Chyloh Thokey, 24, of Troy, was cited with a stop sign violation after an accident Friday at 7:05 p.m.

Thokey was eastbound on Hoewisher Road at a stop sign at Broadway Avenue. He continued eastbound and hit a car driven northbound on Broadway at Tommy Strunk, 65, 827 Arrowhead Drive, Apt. A.

• A hit-skip crash occurred Friday at 10;05 p.m.

Paula K. Wicks, 25, of Wapakoneta, was southbound on Stolle Avenue when her auto was hit by a pickup truck that was westbound on Gleason Street. The truck, described as a smaller truck that was either black or blue, left the scene. Wicks had nonincapacitating injuries. Sidney Department of Fire & Emergency Services examined her but did not transport her.

• Corbin Kreischer, 20, of Decatur, Indiana, was cited with improper lane change after an accident Saturday at 2:02 p.m.
Kreischer was southbound in the left lane of the first block of South Vandemark Road. He attempted to change lanes and hit a car that was southbound in the right lane. The driver of the other auto was Johngary Goodwin, 34, 829 McKinley Ave.
• Oumar Kane, 59, 971 Buckeye Ave., was cited with failure to control after an accident Saturday at 7:57 p.m.
Kane was eastbound in the 700 block of Countryside Lane and hit the parked car of Jacqueline Burdiss, 753 Countryside Lane.

• A hit-skip crash occurred Sunday at 9:35 p.m.

Martha Deal, 71, 440 W. Main St., Port Jefferson, was westbound on Fair Road, near Foraker Avenue, when an eastbound auto swerved across the double-yellow line and hit the mirror of the Deal car.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-3:02 to 4:28 a.m.: Medics responded to two calls.

MONDAY

-8:48 a.m. to 11:48 p.m.: Medics responded to 11 calls.

-9:07 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were called to the area of Park Street and Linden Avenue on a report of a possible structure fire. It was found to be a smoke scare.

-1:02 p.m.: cleanup. Firefighters were called to the areas of Michigan and Kuther, Gleason and Lester, and Lester and Michigan streets to clean up grease on the roadway.

-11:45 a.m.: alarm. Firefighters were called to 1000 Michigan St. by a fire alarm. It was an alarm malfunction.

SUNDAY

-12:19 t0 10:09 p.m.: Medics responded to eight calls.
