Sheriff’s log

WEDNESDAY

-2:04 p.m.: assault. An Anna resident reported being assaulted. Anna Police responded.

SATURDAY

-1:46 p.m.: theft. A purse was found on Red Feather Road in Washington Township. When deputies located its owner, Amanda Nicole Plunkett, 10835 Mohawk Court, she said the purse had been stolen from her husband’s truck overnight.

FRIDAY

-3:25 p.m.: theft. Camiele A. Spradlin, 3304 Chief Tarkee Court, reported someone broke into her vehicle and took an MP3 player valued at $20.

Fire, rescue

WEDNESDAY

-12:50 p.m.: injury. Anna Rescue was called to the 100 block of East Lynn Street, Botkins.

-10:03 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Fire were called to the 10000 block of state Route 119.

TUESDAY

-11:29 p.m.: injury. Anna Rescue was called to Honda, 12500 Meranda Road.

-3:46 p.m.: vandalism. Someone knocked a hole in a wall at Clear Creek Farms, 1886 Kuther Road.

-3:24 p.m.: property-damage accident. A one-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Frazier-Guy Road and state Route 29.

Accident

Joshua A. Schriber, 27, of Cincinnati, was cited for failure to control following a one-vehicle crash Saturday at 9:22 a.m.

Schriber was westbound on Cisco Road and failed to negotiate a curve in the road. The vehicle went off the road, striking a wooden fence and tree.

His vehicle was disabled in the crash and was towed from the scene.
