TUESDAY

-5:54 a.m.: theft. Jeramy Risdon, 134 Pike St., reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle at his residence and stole a CD case, 100 CDs, a plastic console and screwdriver, valued at $545.

-12:35 a.m.: vehicle trespass. Patricia Wood, 219 1/2 E. Court St., reported someone climbed onto her vehicle at her residence.

-12:32 a.m.: aggravated menacing. Police arrested Greg A. Harriger, 37, at large, on a charge of aggravated menacing. He allegedly menaced Jeff Fortman at Wilson Memorial Hospital.

MONDAY

-8:03 p.m.: assault. Ashley Taylor, 509 Third Ave., reported someone assaulted her.

-6:25 p.m.: receiving stolen property. Police arrested Cody Lowe, 19, 209 1/2 E. North St., on a charge of receiving stolen property. He was charged in connection with the theft of a cell phone, valued at $100, and $2 in change from the vehicle of Douglas Sweitzer, 933 N. Main Ave., at the residence.

-1:22 p.m.: breaking and entering. Richard Solomon, of Piqua, reported several power tools, valued at $1,258, were stolen from 807 Arrowhead Drive.

-8:38 a.m.: warrant. Police arrested Roger E. Whetstone, 28, at large, at 1529 E. Court St., Apt. A, on multiple warrants from Montgomery and Mercer counties for failing to register as a sex offender.

-6:11 a.m.: criminal damaging. Paul Scully, 1033 Cinnamon Ridge Lane, reported a window and siding at his residence were damaged. Loss was $800.

-1:38 a.m.: criminal damaging. While on patrol in the 1500 block of Spruce Avenue, a police officer noticed the driver’s side door window in the auto of Josiah St. Myers, 806 St. Marys Ave., Apt. C, was broken. Loss was $100.

SUNDAY

-11:01 p.m.: theft. Police arrested Wren McBrien, 24, 606 N. Main Ave., on a theft charge. He allegedly stole condoms, valued at $3.74, from the Fuel Stop, 125 W. Court St.

-8:31 p.m.: criminal damaging. Valerie Hilgefort, 1069 Cinnamon Ridge Lane, reported someone damaged two hubcaps on her vehicle at her residence. Loss was $100.

-7:59 p.m.: criminal damaging. John Goings, 1520 Sandlewood Place, reported someone put dents all over his motorcycle in the parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings, 2080 Michgan St. Loss was $2,000.

-1:40 a.m.: driving under the influence. Police arrested Lora Curl, 48, 118 W. Edgewood St., at Main Avenue and Freedom Court on a charge of driving under the influence.

SATURDAY

-10 a.m.: burglary. Albert Walters, 991 N. Wagner Ave., reported someone entered his house and garage.

-5 a.m.: criminal trespass. Abbey Kramer, 418 W. Parkwood St., reported someone was trespassing at her residence.

-3:36 a.m.: property found. A bicycle that had been abandoned at Wilson Memorial Hospital was picked up by police.

-2:52 a.m.: unruly juvenile. A woman reported a juvenile was being unruly.

FRIDAY

-8:49 p.m.: theft. Theft of $385 cash from Clara Ross, 510 Buckeye Ave., was reported.

-8:15 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Michael Joyal, 30, of Piqua, on a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

-4:53 p.m.: theft. Brian Rhoades, of Piqua, reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle at Hydro Aluminum, 401 Stolle Ave., and stole a cell phone and other items, valued at $790.

-4:43 p.m.: criminal damaging. Danielle Martin, 1196 Hazelnut Lane, reported someone threw a rock through her son’s bedroom window. Loss was $100.

-3:17 p.m.: criminal damaging and criminal trespass. Christine Elson, 221 1/2 E. South St., reported a window at her residence was damaged. Loss was $10. Police arrested Michael McGee, 19, 221 1/2 E. South St., on charges of criminal damaging and criminal trespass in connection with the incident.

-8:38 a.m.: property found. A Starcraft trailer, valued at $500, was found in the Great Miami River near the Stolle Bridge.

-8:05 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Catelynn S. Weiler, 24, 511 Third Ave., on a contempt warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

-7:49 a.m.: theft. Michael Edens, 305 S. Miami St., Quincy, reported someone stole his cell phone, valued at $100, from his workplace, Ross Casting and Innovation, 402 S. Kuther Road.

-7:28 a.m.: breaking and entering. Someone broke into the concession stand at Custenborder Field and stole candy.

-7:24 a.m.: telephone harassment. Dale Agnew, of Waynesfield, reported possible telephone harassment at 1660 Gleason St.

-6:58 a.m.: theft. Someone stole a TV, valued at $268, from the apartments common area of Cedarwood Commons Apartments, 220 Doorley Road.

Accidents

Lucas K. Schlater, 34, 1703 Burkewood Drive, was cited with failure to yield after an accident Monday at 3:38 p.m.

Schlater was northbound on North Vandemark Road, south of Gleason Street, and attempted to turn left into a parking lot. His car collided with a southbound auto driven by Joanne Hunley, 54, 1367 Gearhart Road.

• Daringer Bernardi, 16, 18816 Deam Road, and Kenneth Subler, 52, of Yorkshire, were cited with failure to maintain an assured clear distance after an accident Friday at 4:40 p.m.

Bernardi was westbound in the 2300 block of Michigan Street in the left lane behind a vehicle driven by Alys Fleckenstein, 41, 5861 Cardo Road, Fort Loramie. The Bernardi auto hit the rear of the Fleckenstein vehicle. Bernardi then pulled into the middle turn lane to stop. The Bernardi auto then was hit in the rear by a vehicle driven by Subler. Subler told police he thought he saw a vehicle sliding sideways in front of Fleckenstein, so he got over into the middle lane in an attempt to avoid an accident. He said Bernardi pulled in front of him and he (Subler) could not stop fast enough.

• Curtis Everett, 43, 308 Monroe St., was cited with failure to yield the right of way and leaving the scene of an accident after an accident Sunday at 4:42 p.m.

Everett was northbound on Brooklyn Avenue and was turning left into the gas station at 525 North St. and his auto collided with a car that was turning right into the business. The driver of the other auto was Harold Cavinder, 84, 1873 Dingman-Slagle Road. Everett drove away after the crash and police later located him.

• David L. Kessler, 35, 821 Arrowhead Drive, Apt. L, was cited with driving under the influence and failure to control after an accident Friday at 3:34 a.m.

Kessler was southbound in the 600 block of Broadway Avenue. He told police he dozed off and struck a parked vehicle, pushing it into another parked auto. The owners of the parked vehicles were Linda Cromes, 625 Broadway Ave., and Larry Berry, 621 Broadway Ave.

According to a police report, police also charged Kessler with possession of drug paraphernalia. He allegedly had two suspected marijuana pipes.

• Andrew Hobson, 28, of Pekin, Illinois, was cited with a turning violation after an accident Friday at 9:30 p.m.

Hobson was northbound in the right lane of Main Avenue at Poplar Street. Not realizing Main is a one-way street at that location, Hobson turned left and his vehicle collided with a vehicle that was northbound in the left lane. The driver of the other auto was Donna Hubley, 62, 780 Johnston Drive.

• Shane Lambert, 23, 127 Oldham Ave., was cited with assured clear distance after an accident Saturday at 11:37 a.m.

Lambert was westbound in the 200 block of East Court Street and his auto struck in the rear a westbound vehicle that was slowing for a red traffic light at Main Avenue. The driver of the other auto was Tracy Porath, 38, 234 Hillcrest Court.

• Audrey Francis, 21579 Tawawa Road, was cited with improper backing after an accident Saturday at 10:59 a.m.

Francis backed from a private drive at 505 Franklin Ave. and hit a car parked on the street. The owner of the parked auto was Vickey Rork, 508 Franklin Ave.

-12:40 a.m. to 1:13 p.m.: Medics responded to 10 calls.

MONDAY

-2:27 a.m. to 11 p.m.: Medics responded to five calls.
