TUESDAY

-4:03 a.m.: theft. Robert Alexander, II, 51, 703 Lynn St., reported someone entered his trailer and stole tools.

MONDAY

-7:43 p.m.: criminal damaging. Charles Sayre, 56, 528 N. Miami Ave., reported someone threw a rock through his driver’s side window when it was in the 600 block of Foraker Avenue.

-5:01 p.m.: found property. A set of black car keys with a yellow bottle opener on them was found in the 600 block of Norwood Street and turned into police.

-2:44 p.m.: theft. Scott Wright, 52, 1401 Riverbend Blvd., reported someone took a firearm from his residence.

-10:28 a.m.: identity theft. Elizabeth Christman, 22, 815 Broadway Ave., reported suspects had used her personal information.

-7:52 a.m.: breaking and entering. York Auto Repair on Walnut Street reported someone entered their business and took a blue steel revolver sometime overnight.

-7:51 a.m.: criminal damaging. Creative Hair Design on Spruce Avenue reported a window and window screen had been damaged.

-12:28 a.m.: aggravated robbery. Randy Evans, 46, of Piqua, was robbed while at the ATM at US Bank, 1222 Wapakoneta Ave. The suspect took $60 in cash. Evans got an apparent minor laceration to his chin.

SUNDAY

-5:41 p.m.: theft. Phillip McCluskey, 18, 132 Pike St., reported someone took a pair of sweatpants, his car keys, and an iPhone 5 from the YMCA.

-5:38 p.m.: found property. A wallet, bank cards, and an Ohio OL were found in the 300 block of North Ohio Avenue.

-4 p.m.: burglary. James Jones, 79, 308 Hall Ave., reported a burglary had occurred at his home sometime in the prior two hours. A door frame was listed as damaged and $35 in cash was reported taken.

-2:31 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Ted Heitkamp, 43, of St. Henry, for a bench warrant.

-1:47 a.m.: criminal trespass. Police arrested Rick Hartley, 24, for criminal trespass at Dawg Pound, 553 N. Vandemark Road.

SATURDAY

-11:09 p.m.: robbery. Paul Wiseman, 32, 815 Arrowhead Drive, Apt. E., reported an unknown subject stole $120 from him in the 400 block of Riverside Drive.

-9:46 p.m.: warrant service. Police arrested Nathan Jenkins, 58, of Piqua, on an outstanding warrant out of Logan County, in the 200 block of South Walnut Avenue.

-7:23 p.m.: theft. Angela Fernandez, 30, 888 Crescent Drive, reported the theft of a push lawn mower from her yard.

-6:35 p.m.: lost property. A juvenile victim reported he lost a wallet, Ohio ID and a social security card.

-5:16 p.m.: theft. Barbara Neer, 213 Charles Ave., 74, reported the theft of her mailbox.

-3:25 a.m.: domestic violence. Police investigated a domestic violence incident in the 800 block of Arrowhead Drive. Police arrested Shianne Saunders, 22, 245 W. North St., for domestic violence.

FRIDAY

-4:39 p.m.: theft. Austin Depinet, 19, 514 Second Ave., reported his red and black west coast style bicycle was stolen in the area of 801 N. Ohio Ave.

-11:57 a.m.: theft. Brian Edwards, 38, reported someone used his food stamp debit card was used without his permission.

-8:27 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Angela Schmidt, 41, 329 N. Ohio Ave., Apt. B, on a warrant then transported to Sidney Municipal Court.

Accidents

Olivia Gorman, 18, of Piqua, was cited for improper lane change after an accident on Monday at 3:22 p.m.

Gorman was traveling westbound in the 100 block of East Court Street in the left turn lane approaching the intersection of South Main Avenue when she changed lanes and struck a vehicle traveling beside her in the right lane of travel.

The driver of the other vehicle was Kenneth Shade, 56, 406 E. Court St.

• Daniel Lawrence, 45, 5945 State Route 47, Houston, was cited for stop and yield after an accident at 1:11 p.m.

Lawrence was making a left turn from Wisconsin Street traveling north east onto Lester Avenue when it struck a vehicle traveling north on Lester Avenue that was attempting to turn left onto Wisconsin Street.

The driver of the other vehicle was Kirit Patel, 69, 2601 Tomahawk Court.

• Charles Taylor, 16, 618 Sixth Ave., was cited for right of way turning left after an accident on Monday at 7:32 a.m.

Taylor was traveling southbound on South Fourth Avenue when he attempted to turn left into a private drive but was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound on South Fourth Avenue.

The driver of the other vehicle was Jody Schelb, 60, of Tipp City.

• Brianna Funk, 20, 810 Fourth Ave., was cited for assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Monday at 6:58 a.m.

Funk was traveling eastbound on Russell Road when she struck a vehicle stopped in traffic attempting to turn left.

The driver of the other vehicle was Harold Johnson, 72, 10820 Stangle Road. He was trasnported by Sidney Medics to Wilson Hospital with possible injuries.

• Robert Kesler Jr., 54, of Piqua, was cited for operation without reasonable control after and accident on Sunday at 9:09 p.m.

Kesler was southbound on North Main Avenue in the 1700 block when he did not see a trailer parked on the road and struck it. The trailer was parked illegally, no trailers can be parked on the street.

• Heather Binderle, 26, 2355 Collins Drive, Apt. E, was cited for failure to control after an accident on Sunday at 8:02 a.m.

Binderle was traveling eastbound on East Bennett Street when she struck a vehicle parked in front of 205 E. Bennett St., pushing it off the road and into a yard.

The owner of the vehicle hit was Michael Keckley, 1258 Hawthorne Dr.

• No one was cited after an accident on Saturday at 10:38 a.m.

Trina Bryant, 39, 9222 County Road 25A, was exiting the parking lot of 111 N. Vandemark Road, when she failed to use her brakes and instead stepped on the accelerator by accident colliding with a vehicle passing in front of her headed westbound on a private road between 221 and 111 North Vandemark Road.

The driver of the other vehicle, Ronald Tackett, 67, 18702 State Route 47 E., was transported to Wilson Hospital by Perry-Port-Salem Medics with possible injuries.

• Tiffany Ferguson, 18, 11999 Baker Road, Maplewood, was cited for marked lanes after an accident on Friday at 11:21 a.m.

Ferguson was traveling northbound on South Vandemark Road side-by-side with another vehicle when she merged left into the side of the other vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle was Holly Taylor, 30, 730 Taft St.

• Deborah Leiss, 60, 15257 Pasco-Montra Road, Anna, was cited for starting/backing vehicles after an accident on Friday at 4:02 p.m.

Leiss backed out of a parking space on North Miami Avenue into another vehicle that was stopped in traffic at East North Street.

The driver of the other vehicle was Kelly O’Leary, 49, 2165 S. County Road 25A.

• Four accidents on Broadway Avenue and Thompson-Schiff Road Wednesday at around 10 p.m. were caused due to a medical issue.

George Miu, 46, 618 Carley Lane, was northbound on Broadway Avenue when he went left of center striking a vehicle that was parked across the street from 2240 Broadway. The impact caused the vehicle to be pushed into the street grates, and Miu continued on northbound. Miu again went left of center, left the roadway and struck a mailbox at 2315 Broadway, then left the scene. He then went left of center, left the roadway and struck a mailbox at 2821 Broadway Ave., and continued on northbound. Then further down when the road turns into Thompson-Schiff Road, he exited the roadway to the right striking several mailboxes. It then came back onto the roadway to the left and struck a fence, continuing through a field and coming to rest against a fence post on the north side of the field.

Miu was transported to Wilson Hospital by Anna Rescue with possible injuries.

TUESDAY

-8:14 to 8:21 a.m.: Medics responded to two calls.

MONDAY

-11:39 p.m.: Medics responded to a call.

-11:15 p.m.: Crews responded to an accident at County Road 25A at Interstate 75, exit 94.

-10:34 p.m.: Crews responded to the 2400 block of Industrial Drive for a fire alarm. It was a false alarm.

-9 a.m. to 7:23 p.m.: Medics responded to seven calls.

-8:59 a.m.: Crews responded to the 3000 block of Cisco Road for a fire alarm. It was a false alarm.

-8:44 a.m.: Medics responded to a call.

-7:32 a.m.: Crews responded to Russel Road at St. Mary’s Avenue for an accident.

-7:31 a.m.: Crews responded to Fourth Avenue at Campbell Road for an accident.

-6:39 a.m.: Medics responded to a call.

-4:30 a.m.: Firefighters responded mutual aid with Lockington Fire to the 10000 block of Schenk Road for a car fire next to a house. The fire was out on arrival.

-12:28 to 1:40 a.m.: Medics responded to two calls.

SUNDAY

-9:11 p.m.: Medics responded to a call.

-9:08 p.m.: Crews responded to the 1700 block of North Main Avenue for an auto accident.

-7:19 p.m.: Medics responded to a call.

-6:54 p.m.: Crews responded to Mason Road and County Road 25A for an auto accident with Anna Rescue.

-6:45 p.m.: Crews responded to the 1000 block of Michigan Street on a general fire alarm. The alarm was caused by burnt popcorn.

-4:07 p.m.: Crews responded to the 100 block of West Poplar for an alarm sounding. Sound alarm due to trouble alarm in duct detector. No problem found.

-3:03 p.m.: Medics responded to a call.
