Robb Allen North, 50, of Port Jefferson, was cited with failure to yield after a two-vehicle crash on Monday at 8:04 a.m.
North was stopped facing the south on state Route 119 when he pulled from the intersection and into the path of the westbound vehicle on Pasco Montra Road that was driven by Gary W. Cortney, 28, of Crestline.
North told the responding deputy the sun was in his eyes and he didn’t see Cortney.
• Debora J. Hickman, 69, of Sidney, was cited with left of center after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 2:59 p.m.
Hickman was turning sharply onto Vandemark Road from River Road when she drifted left of center and hit the stopped vehicle at the stop sign on Vandemark Road head-on.
The other vehicle was driven by Sandra D. Montomery, 60, of Fletcher.
-9:52 a.m.: crash with injuries. A crash with injuries was reported in the 20400 block of state Route 706 in Sidney.
-7:58 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to three calls.
