Police log

THURSDAY

-5:30 p.m.: theft. An iPad, valued at $200, a laptop, valued at $300, five pieces of jewelry, valued $300, and a vehicle deed were reported stolen in the 100 block of Mound Street.

-11:52 a.m.: theft — deception. Three-hundred dollars was reported stolen in the 700 block of Countryside Lane.

-6:10 a.m.: theft. A yellow Liz Claiborne purse, containing two bank cards, a Social Security card, and $30, was reported stolen in the 1800 block of Daniel Place.

WEDNESDAY

-6:03 p.m.: drug trafficking. Police are investigating a traffic incident at mile marker 90 on Interstate 75, during which $100,000 worth of marijuana was seized and narcotic equipment was found.

Crashes 

Nichole Mikusa, 41, of Troy, was cited with obedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at 8:53 p.m.

Mikusa was traveling northbound on County Road 25A when she failed to stop at a malfunctioning traffic light that was out and struck the eastbound vehicle on West Russell Road that was driven by James E. Lehmkuhl, 39, of Sidney.

• Ashley Lauren Cummans, 23, of Russia, was cited with operation without reasonable control on Wednesday at 2:02 p.m.

Cummans was traveling southbound on Crescent Drive in the right lane and when she attempted to pull over but hit the right rear of a parked vehicle on the west side of the road in front of 865 Crescent Drive. Cummans then left the scene but was later located and cited by police.

The other vehicle is owned by Chelsia Evans, of Sidney.

• Justin R. Thomas, 35, of Sidney, was cited with driving within lanes after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 2:17 p.m.

Thomas was traveling westbound on state Route 47 in the left lane when he made an improper right turn into the Subway drive-thru and failed to see and struck the westbound vehicle in the right lane on Michigan Street that was driven by Dennis B. Gordon, 82, of Maplewood

• Katherine R. Patton, 63, of Sidney, was cited with operation of vehicle at stop after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 1:28 p.m.

Patton was pulling-out westbound from the Kroger right-only drive when she failed to yield and struck the westbound vehicle on Michigan Street that was driven by Jeri Lynn Ike, 62, of Sidney.

Fire, rescue

FRIDAY

-9:30 a.m.: carbon monoxide. Firefighters conducted a carbon monoxide investigation.

-2:36 to 3:32 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to two calls.

THURSDAY

-3:48 to 10 p.m.: fire alarm. Crews responded to four fire alarms.

-2:32 to 9:41 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to eight calls.

-6:57 a.m.: crash. Medics responded to an automobile crash.
