MONDAY

-1:32 a.m.: contempt. Chris Allen Compton, 45, at large, was arrested on a contempt warrant.

SUNDAY

-1:53 p.m.: theft. A long black wallet with white polka dots, containing four bank/credit cards, an Ohio driver’s license and four Social Security cards, was reported stolen in the 1100 block of Hawthorn Drive.

-11:51 a.m.: warrant. Alicia Gibson, 26, of Sidney, was served a summons.

-3:18 a.m.: driving under the influence. Jon Edward McCorkle, 41, Sagle, Idaho, was arrested for OVI.

SATURDAY

-6:43 p.m.: theft. The theft of an assortment of Milwaukee tools, valued at $1,333, was reported stolen in the 500 block of South Ohio Avenue.

-9:36 a.m.: endangering children. Lindsey N. Jones, 27, of Sidney, was arrested on endangering children charges.

FRIDAY

-6:55 p.m.: unauthorized use of motor vehicle. The unauthorized use of a maroon 1996 Nissan Maxima was reported to police.

-8:15 a.m.: contempt. Jerrod Andrew Thomas, 26, of Kenton, was arrested on a contempt bench warrant.

THURSDAY

-11:51 p.m.: burglary. A burglary was reported at an apartment in the 800 block of Park Street, in which five pairs of shoes, valued at $600, an iPhone 11 Pro Max Gold, valued at $700, and an iPhone 7, valued at $200.

Crashes 

Riley A. Mangas, 19, of Anna, was cited with starting and backing after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 5:51 p.m.

Mangas was backing southbound from an alley when he struck a parked vehicle in front of 319 Maple St. that is owned by Nannie Young, of Sidney.

• Arnold Martin, 73, of Sidney, was cited with operation of vehicle at stop after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at 3:18 p.m.

Martin was stopped at a stop sign on Vandemark Road at Michigan Street when he then entered Michigan Street turning eastbound and was hit by the eastbound vehicle driven by Brooks L. Reed, 34, of Sidney.

• Derrick Bowers, 25, of Piqua, was cited with obedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at 2:34 p.m.

Bowers was traveling southbound on Wapakoneta Avenue when he could not stop in time for the red light at William Avenue and hit the eastbound vehicle on William Avenue that was driven by Justin Hughes, 33, of Sidney.

• No one was cited after a single-vehicle crash on private property on Thursday at midnight.

Nage Mamadou, 23, of Sidney, told police he got into his vehicle and had issues with his brakes. When he put his vehicle into gear it jumped the curb and hit a bush in the front yard of a property in the 900 block of Buckeye Avenue.

MONDAY

-4:30 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to a call.

SUNDAY

-8:44 p.m.: fire alarm. Firefighters responded to a fire alarm.

-8:33 a.m.: carbon monoxide. Firefighters conducted a carbon monoxide investigation.

-1:26 a.m. to 11:23 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to 10 calls.

SATURDAY

-8:33 a.m.: open burn. Firefighters conducted a 0pen burn investigation.

-12:17 a.m. to 10:57 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to 10 calls.

FRIDAY

-9:30 a.m.: carbon monoxide. Firefighters conducted a carbon monoxide investigation.
