Police log

THURSDAY

-5:42 a.m.: found property. A black jacket, a cooler, and a bottle of pills was found in the 400 block of East Hoewisher Road.

WEDNESDAY

-10 p.m.: operating a vehicle under the influence. Michele Lundy, 44, of Piqua, was arrested for OVI in the 1700 block of Michigan Street.

-6:26 p.m.: theft. Carole Adams, 48, 12748 Kirkwood Road, reported the theft or loss of her wallet and it’s contents at Walmart.

-3:44 p.m.: burglary. Rose Jaques, 69, 619 Michigan St. reported a n attempted burglary at her residence. A storm door had damage to it.

-2:39 p.m.: vandalism. Police arrested a 14-year-old juvenile for throwing a rock at a windshield of a vehicle as it was traveling in the 800 block of St. Marys Road. The vehicle had three people in it.

March 14

-11:50 a.m.: offenses involving counterfeit controlled substance sell. Police arrested a 12-year-old male juvenile for selling “grape drank” at The Sidney Middle School to two other students.

Accident

Wesley Jones, 20, 2442 Collins Drive, was cited for operation at stop/yield sign after an accident on Tuesday at 7:35 p.m.

Jones was stopped on Hoewisher Road facing eastbound at the stop sign at Broadway Avenue when he pulled away from the stop sign, failing to yield, striking a vehicle that was traveling northbound on Broadway Avenue.

The driver of the other vehicle was Sean Allen, 18, 17091 Sunset Drive.

-12:31 to 8:26 a.m.: Medics responded to six calls.

WEDNESDAY

-10:34 p.m.: Medics responded to a call.

-9:59 p.m.: Crews responded to the 1700 block of Michigan Street for a motor vehicle accident.

-9:33 p.m.: Crews responded to the 200 block of Sherri Anna Venue for a gas leak.

-2:26 to 6:07 p.m.: Medics responded to three calls.
