SIDNEY — The following people appeared for sentencing in Sidney Municipal Court during the month of August 2021. All sentences include the cost of prosecution:

Stacy L. Mariano, 42, of Sidney, was charged with failure to maintain reasonable control, $136 fine.

Megan E. Elliott, 41, of Minster, was charged with speeding, 62 mph in a 35 mph, $211 fine.

Rodolfo Vega Vega, 42, of Sidney, was charged with speeding (delivery driver), 55 mph in a 35 mph, $141 fine.

Theresa G. Weiler, 56, of Sidney, was charged with starting and backing vehicles, $136 fine.

Richard Anthony Denning, 39, of Anna, was charged with driver seat belt violation, $122 fine.

Betty S. Stephens, 82, of Sidney, was charged with duties of drivers and pedestrians at a crosswalk (stopped at stop sign, then moved forward, striking a wheelchair-bound individual in the crosswalk saying she could not see him, resulting in a minor injury treated at the scene and damage to the wheelchair), $136 fine.

Melissa A. Jackson, 52, of Sidney, was charged with failing to stop at a stop sign, $136 fine.

Maddison Kathleen Campbell, 26, of Sidney, was charged with driving without a license, $288 fine.

Daniel Timothy Charles Orndorff, 62, of Sidney, was charged with speeding, 79 mph in a 55 mph, failure to reinstate license (did not qualify for LIP), and use of unauthorized plates. The plates belonged to another vehicle, which was also a fictitious registration tag, so a tow-truck towed the vehicle to the impound until proof of ownership could be produced. Orndorff was also unable to unable to show proof of insurance for the vehicle. Orndoff failed to appear for sentencing on Jan. 14, 2022, and a bench warrant was served on Feb. 8, 2022. Orndoff retained an attorney and changed his plea to not guilty. The case is still open.

Danford Lodge Aukerman, 56, of Botkins, was charged with failure to maintain an assured clear distance, $136 fine.

Joshua Donald Russell, 37, of Sidney, was charged with failure to reinstate license, dismissed under LIP program, $111 fine.

Kenneth Larry Alexander, 22, of Sidney, was charged with expired plates, $136 fine.

Terry Reed, Jr., 52, of Wapakoneta, was charged with expired plates, $136 fine.

Javon M. Purk, 23, of Sidney, was charged with illegal u-turn, $136 fine.

Evan William Bruggeman, 23, of Trotwood, was charged with display of plates and tags (failure to register vehicle), $130 fine.

Stefanie A. Cain, 36, of Botkins, was charged with speeding and driving while texting, $291 fine.

Tara S. Hassan, 31, of Dayton, was charged with expired plates, $136 fine.

Anthony M. Hall, 28, of Batvia, was charged with speeding, 75 mph in a 55 mph, $141 fine.

Cortney A. O’Leary, 36, of Sidney, was charged with expired plates, $136 fine.

Anthony W. Bauer, 51, of Sidney, was charged with driving under suspension with restrictions (guilty), and contempt (dismissed), $301 fine.

Alexis Michelle Hodge, 23, of Greenville, was charged with driving under suspension (dismissed under LIP program), $111 fine.

Andrew Wheeler, 29, of Sidney, was charged with prohibited parking places, $76 fine.

Wesley Stockton, 43, of Sidney, was charged with prohibited parking places, $91 fine.

David L. Powers, 67, of Sidney, was charged with prohibited parking places, $91 fine.

Isaiah M. Richardson, 39, of Delphos, was charged with driving under suspension (unsuccessful LIP completion), $361 fine.

Bryan D. Pence, 25, of Piqua, was charged with speeding, 53 mph in a 35 mph, $141 fine.
