MONDAY

-7:40 p.m.: intoxicated person. An intoxicated person was reported in the 1000 block of North Main Avenue.

-1:31 p.m.: damage. Past damage was reported at a property in the 800 block of St. Marys Avenue.

-1:14 p.m.: theft. A past theft was reported at Love’s on Fair Road.

-11:05 a.m.: trespassing. Police were called to remove a person from a property in the 100 block of West Poplar Street.

-10:03 a.m.: scam. A scam was reported at a property in the 800 block of Lori Court.

-9:24 a.m.: damage. Past damage was reported at a property in the 700 block of East Avenue.

Crashes

Janice Lynn Booth, 62, of Sidney, was right of way when turning left after a two-vehicle crash on Monday at 8:40 a.m.

Booth was traveling southbound on Fourth Avenue when he attempted to left into a driveway but was in the pathway of and was hit the northbound vehicle on Fourth Avenue that was driven by Charles C. Tucker, 63, of Conover.

• Andrew L. Landrum, 70, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 9:38 a.m.

Landrum was traveling westbound on state Route 47 when his vehicle hit the rear of the stopped vehicle in front of him, driven by Terry Ludwig, 56, of Port Jefferson.

• Francis Harkness, 76, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 5:40 a.m.

Harkness was traveling eastbound on West North Street when his vehicle hit the rear of the stopped vehicle in front of him, driven by Cynthia Brown, 57, of Sidney, at a red light at North West Avenue.

Fire, rescue

MONDAY

-2:41 p.m.: crash. Crews responded to an automobile crash.

-8:20 a.m. to 7:43 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to eight calls.

-2:51 a.m.: fire alarm. Firefighters responded to a false alarm.
