TUESDAY

-11:21 a.m.: assault. Deputies responded to 8115 Galley Road on the report of an assault in Cynthian Township.

MONDAY

-1:12 p.m.: pursuit. Botkins Police and Shelby County deputies assisted Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office with a pursuit.

-12:52 p.m.: larceny. Deputies are investigating a report of larceny at a residence in the 4000 block of Dormire Road in Green Township. Rose Jackson reported $500 was taken from her mother, Mary L. Chrisman, who resides when Jackson and her husband.

SUNDAY

-5 p.m.: property damage accident. Deputies are investigating a two-vehicle accident at state Route 274 at Wenger Road in Dinsmore Township.

-7:02 a.m.: theft without consent. Jennifer A. Barnett, 5927 State Route 29, Sidney, reported an Apple White IPad with charger and headphones were taken from her vehicle. The items were valued at $100.

SATURDAY

-12:30 p.m.: domestic violence. Anthony William Bauer, 3434 State Route 66, Houston, was arrested on domestic violence charges.

-3:58 p.m.: vandalism. Fort Loramie Police responded to 27 N. Main St. on the report of vandalism.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-7:56 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue, Minster Life Squad, Van Buren Township Fire Department and Deputies were dispatched to a call in the 13000 block of Staley Road in Van Buren Township.

-7:26 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Deputies were dispatched to the 15000 block of Sharp Road in Franklin Township.

MONDAY

-8:38 p.m.: medical. Houston Rescue was dispatched to the 2000 block of Jerome Drive in Loramie Township.

-7:45 p.m.: medical. Sidney Medic, Deputies and Sidney Fire Department were dispatched to an accident with injuries in the 1000 block of McCloskey School Road in Orange Township.

-4:19 p.m.: medical. Deputies and Fort Loramie Rescue, Police and Fire Department were dispatched to the 6000 block of state Route 66 for a three-car accident with injuries in Cynthian Township.

-3:13 p.m.: fire. Lockington Fire Department was dispatched to assist with a fire in Miami County.

-1:26 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was dispatched to the 100 block of Diamond Drive in Anna.

-12:19 p.m.: fire. Van Buren Township Fire responded to TruPointe, 8977 State Route 274 in Van Buren Township on a report of lines sparking.

-10:56 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was dispatched to the 100 block of Redbud Circle in Jackson Center.

-8:38 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was dispatched to the 18000 block of state Route 65 in Jackson Center.

SUNDAY

-6:17 p.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue was dispatched to the 7000 block of Cardo Road in Cynthian Township.

-6:09 p.m.: fire alarm. Port Jefferson Fire was dispatched to 17887 Herring Road in Salem Township for a fire alarm which had been manually pushed.

-4:30 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was dispatched to the 300 block of East South Street in Botkins.

Accidents

No citations were issued following a two-vehicle accident Sunday at 5 p.m. at the intersection of Wenger Road and state Route 274.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Jed C. Fullenkamp, 53, 410 1/2 Debra Drive, Botkins, was eastbound on state Route 274 with his turn signal on to turn north onto Wenger Road. He was pulling a tracker boat behind his Dodge Nitro. As he made the turn, a mini van driven by Amanda Dine Gamble, 46, Dublin, struck the boat on the driver’s side.

Gamble told deputies she was attempting to pass Fullenkamp’s vehicle and didn’t see his turn signal.

The boat and Gamble’s vehicle were damaged in the accident.

• Jackson Center Police issued a citation for failure to yield following a two-vehicle accident Saturday at 1:25 p.m.

According to the report, Christopher M. Tuttle, of Jackson Center, was cited following the accident. He was eastbound in the 600 block of East Pike Street when he turned in front of a vehicle driven by Amy Slavik, of Columbus, who was westbound on Pike Street.

Slavik and a passenger in her vehicle, Dawn Freas, of Worthington, were transported by Anna Rescue to Wilson Health.

• The investigation into an accident involving three motorcycles Saturday afternoon at 3:52 p.m. on state Route 66 at Basinburg Road in Cynthian Township is continuing.

Preliminary investigation revealed a Harley Davidson driven by Charles Fitzgerald, 61, of Greenville, struck the rear of another motorcycle operated by Matthew Fitzgerald, 40, of Greenville. The impact forced Matthew Fizgerald’s motorcycle into a third motorcycle driven by Matthew Hoff, 28, of Greenville. Both Matthew Fitzgerald and Matthew Hoff had passengers on their motorcycles. Falicia Oostra, 41, of Greenville, was riding on Matthew Fitzgerald’s motorcycle. Rebecca Hoff, 28, of Greenville, was on Matthew Hoff’s motorcycle.

Matthew Hoff claimed no injuries at the scene. Rebecca Hoff was transported from the scene to Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, by CareFlight. Matthew Fitzgerald and Oostra were transported to Wilson Hospital by Fort Loramie Rescue. Matthew Fitzgerald was transported from Wilson to Miami Valley by ambulance. Charles Fitzgerald was transported to Wilson Hospital by Fort Loramie Rescue and was later transported to Miami Valley by CareFlight.

The crash remains under investigation pending release of the victims from Miami Valley Hospital and officials can get their statements.

• Deputies investigated a one-vehicle accident Friday at 8:14 p.m.

Noel Jane Spillers, 17, Sidney, was northbound on Wright-Puthoff Road at a high rate of speed nearing the intersection at Mason Road. Spillers failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection and continued north. Her vehicle went airborn at the intersection, landing and leaving gouge marks approximately 30 feet north of the intersection.

The impact caused the vehicle to leave the east side of the road. She then overcorrected the vehicle and it traveled back across the road and left the west side of the road. The vehicle began to roll after impact with the ditch. The vehicle came to rest in a farm field on the west side of Wright-Puthoff Road.

Spillers and a passenger in her vehicle, Kobey James Vondenhuevel, 15, Sidney, were transported to Wilson Hospital by Fort Loramie Rescue.

Spillers’s 1999 Honda Civic was disabled in the accident and towed from the scene.
