TUESDAY

-2:20 p.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to 7741 Hughes Road on a report of a theft from the residence’s yard.

-1:28 p.m.: K9 demonstration. Deputies were dispatched to the City of Sidney for a K9 demonstration at the Commissioner’s office.

MONDAY

-11:04 p.m.: property damage accident. Deputies were dispatched to the 3000 block of Sidney Freyburg Road on a report of a car hitting a guardrail in Salem Township.

-5:06 p.m.: vandalism. Deputies were dispatched to 18350 Roettger Road on a report of a broken window in Van Buren Township.

-8:23 a.m.: K9 narcotics search. A K9 narcotics search was conducted at 829 Mt. Vernon Place in Clinton Township.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-9:16 a.m.: medical. Houston Rescue responded to the 12000 block of Kirkwood Road in Orange Township.

MONDAY

-9:39 p.m.: medical. Deputies and Houston Rescue were dispatched to the 4000 block of state Route 66 in Loramie Township.

-7:44 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was dispatched to the 100 block of Redbud Circle in Jackson Township.

-7:12 p.m.: medical. Deputies and Houston Rescue were dispatched to the 5000 block of Dawson Road in Cynthian Township.

-4:45 p.m.: medical. Deputies, Anna Rescue and Fire Department responded to a report of a crash with injuries to the 101 mile-marker on Interstate 75 in Dinsmore Township.

-3:14 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Jackson Center Police responded to the 400 block of East Pike Street in Jackson Township.

-6:54 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue, Police and Fire Department were dispatched to the 200 block of East North Street.

-1:23 a.m.: medical. Sidney Fire Department was dispatched to the 2000 block of North Kuther Road in Clinton Township.

SUNDAY

-7:31 p.m.: medical. Sidney Fire Department was dispatched to the 2000 block of Fair Road in Clinton Township.

-3:54 p.m.: medical. Deputies, Russia Fire Department and Versailles Life Squad were dispatched to the 100 block of School Street in Loramie Township.

TUESDAY

-2:42 p.m.: loud music/party. Botkins Police was dispatched to the 500 block of East State Street in Dinsmore Township.

-2:09 p.m.: theft. Botkins Police was dispatched to 16197 County Road 25A in Dinsmore Township on a report of theft.

MONDAY

-4:37 p.m.: trespassing. Jackson Center Police was dispatched to 404 W. Pike St., on a report of trespassing.

Accidents

No citations were issued following a two-vehicle accident Saturday at 12:21 p.m. on state Route 47.

Cody Philip Huddleston, 25, 309 N. Main St., Jackson Center, was traveling northwest on state Route 47 and was negotiating a curve. Huddleston said he didn’t see another vehicle approaching and heard and felt the collision.

A vehicle driven by Samantha D. Forman, 20, 4991 Tawawa Maplewood Road, Sidney, was traveling southwest on state Route 47, also negotiating the curve. After the impact, Huddleston’s vehicle went back across the road, striking a guardrail and went off the left side of the road.

Forman’s vehicle also went across the roadway and struck a guardrail. Both vehicles had almost identical, left front damage area. There was a deep gouge in the roadway where red paint was found. The gouge was located in the unpainted gap between the double yellow lines. It appears both vehicles were on the double yellow line during the collision.

• Carleton M. Umstead, 76, of 15343 Meranda Road, Anna, was cited for failure to control following a one-vehicle accident Saturday at 6:21 a.m.

Umstead was traveling north on Sidney Freyburg Road when the vehicle went off the left side of the road. The vehicle struck two trees before coming to rest.

His vehicle sustained heavy damage and was towed from the scene.

• No citations were issued following an accident Friday at 4:50 p.m.

Janet A. Martin, 54 of 2301 Riverside Drive, Sidney, was stopped on the off ramp of Interstate 75 at the County Road 25A entrance. Her vehicle was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Jeffrey A. Wesbecher, 46, 2365 Collins Drive, Apt. I, Sidney. Wesbecher said he must have let off the brake while he was looking a cross traffic.

Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
