Tingler failed to negotiate the curve in the road and over-corrected, which caused the vehicle to slide sideways and leave the north side of the road. The vehicle struck the ditch, then a utility pole and began to roll causing an occupant, John David Dilullo, 16, of Sidney, to be ejected from the vehicle. He was sitting in the back seat on the left side of the vehicle and was not wearing a seat belt. He was transported to Wilson Hospital by Fort Loramie Rescue.

The vehicle came to rest on its left side in a farm field.

A passenger in the vehicle, Daniel Fred Dilullo, 16, 8460 Hardin Wapakoneta Road, was transported to Wilson Hospital by Fort Loramie Rescue. He was sitting in the back seat on the right side of the vehicle and was wearing his seat belt.

Another passenger, James Andrew Dilullo, 16, of Sidney, was not injured. He was sitting in the front seat and was wearing his seat belt.

Tingler’s vehicle was disabled in the accident and was towed from the scene.

• Jordan B. Paul, 23, 213 W. State St., Botkins, was transported to Wilson Hospital by Anna Rescue following a one-vehicle accident Saturday at 4:04 a.m. on state Route 274.
