WEDNESDAY

-Noon. Probation violation. Johnny Chiles Jr., 32, was arrested at Patrick’s Pub in McCartyville on an active warrant. He was transported to the Shelby County Jail.

-11:36 a.m. criminal damaging. Duane Gaier, city parks director, reported someone wrote graffiti on the covered bridge at Tawawa Park.

-11:08 a.m.: arrest. Holly D. Mowery, 33, was arrested on drug/narcotic violations and falsification charges.

-10:35 a.m.: found property. A lawn mower was found in the 300 block of Enterprise Avenue and turned over to the police.

-9:29 a.m.: theft. Britney Rochelle Young, 301 S. Main Ave., reported someone took items from her residence. Missing items include a Playstation 3 and gold diamond ring. They items were valued at $149 and were taken between 4 and 9:29 a.m. Wednesday.

-9:24 a.m.: criminal damaging. A vehicle owned by Anita L. Martin, 522 Court St., Apt. A, was damaged between noon Sunday, May 15, and 7 a.m,. Tuesday, May 17, while it was parked at 106 N. Pomeroy Ave. The window was broken out. Damage was set at $500.

-8:52 a.m.: contempt. Brittney Rollins, 26, was arrested on an active warrant and posted bond.

-5:48 a.m.: theft. Carolyn R. Jess, 632 Folkerth Ave., No. 1, reported an adult tricycle was taken from her residence between 3 a.m. Tuesday and 5:48 a.m. Wednesday. The item was valued at $200.

-3:36 a.m.: criminal damaging. Angel L. Merricle, 614 Oak Ave., reported someone threw a burning bag at her residence, causing a welcome mat to be damaged. The welcome mat was valued at $20.

-2:52 a.m.: criminal damaging. Donald Crawford, 41, 302 E. Court St., was arrested for criminal damaging at Menards, 410 Lester Ave. The incident involved a Buck Knives package valued at $25,97.

-2:46 a.m.: receiving stolen property. Brian K. Ellison, 43, was arrested on a warrant.

-1:40 a.m.: theft. Joyce Ann Vayo, 1617 Willow Place, reported someone took her son’s baseball glove from 313 N. Miami Ave. The glove was valued at $60.

Accidents

Miracle D. Odom, 17, Sidney, was cited for a right-of-way at a private drive violation following an accident Wednesday at 7:26 a.m.

Odom was attempting to make a right hand turn from a private drive onto Fourth Avenue. Odom’s vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Gary D. Woodell, 35, 556 Rauth St., who was traveling southbound on Fourth Avenue near Michigan Street.

Both vehicles sustained minor damage.l

• Marjorie R. Eilerman, 62, of 7388 Boerger Road, Fort Loramie, was cited for improper lane change following a two-vehicle accident Tuesday at 4:04 p.m.

Walter Reese, 16, of Sidney, was westbound on state Route 47, in the right lane of travel on the overpass of Interstate 75. Eilerman was also westbound on state Route 47 and was in the left lane of travel.

Eilerman failed to see Reese’s vehicle when she attempted to change lanes and struck the vehicle.

Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

• Cody Alexander, 24, Piqua, was cited for assured clear distance ahead following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday at 4:46 p.m.

A vehicle driven by Bonnie Smith, 48, 2310 State Route 47 East, was northbound on Riverside Drive (state Route 47). A car in front of Smith was turning westbound into a private drive from state Route 47. Smith slowed down for traffic. Alexander failed to realize Smith had slowed down and rear-ended the vehicle.

Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-1:04 p.m.: invalid request. Medics were dispatched to the 1200 block of Hamilton for an assist that was invalid.

-9 a.m. to 12:09 p.m.: medical. Medics sere dispatched on two runs.

-3:55 a.m.: fire alarm. Firefighters were dispatched to 1675 Campbell Road for a fire alarm. It was a false alarm.

WEDNESDAY

-2:41 to 11 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on two runs.
