Huelskamp, others indicted by grand jury

SIDNEY — The Shelby County grand jury handed up several formal indictments Thursday morning.

In the case of a Maplewood woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle on May 11, the man who turned himself in the next morning for the accident was indicted on one count of stopping after accident, a felony of the third-degree. According to the indictment Timothy J. Huelskamp, 51, of Wapakoneta, “was the diver of a motor vehicle in the 10000 block of Sidney-Freyburg Road, that struck a pedestrian, Katriz Dilworth, causing her death and failed to remain at the scene until law enforcement’s arrival.”

Huelskamp and the others indicted are scheduled to appear in group arraignment in Shelby County Common Pleas Court on Thursday, May 26, at 10 a.m.

Other indictments handed up on Thursday included:

• April Rowe, 31, of Sidney, was charged with one count of possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth-degree, and one count of trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fourth-degree. She was arrested on April 29 after the Sidney and Piqua Police Departments executed a narcotics search warrant at her residence.

• Andrew Turner, 33, of Sidney, was charged with four counts of trafficking in drugs, one, a felony of the fifth-degree, and the other’s fourth-degree. He was also charged with possessing criminal tools, with a specification, a felony of the fifth-degree. He was arrested on April 29 after the Sidney and Piqua Police Departments executed a narcotics search warrant at his residence.

• Nathaniel Jackson, 30, of Sidney, was charged with two counts of trafficking in drugs, one, a felony of the third-degree, and the other a fourth-degree. He was also charged with one count of possessing criminal tools, a felony of the fifth-degree. He was arrested on May 2 after the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a narcotics search warrant.

• Danny Bryant, 36, at large, was charged with two counts of breaking and entering, felonies of the fifth-degree, one count of petty theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, and one count of attempted petty theft, a second-degree misdemeanor.

• Jeffrey Richmond, 43, of Sidney, was charged with four counts of trafficking in drugs, felonies of the fifth-degree, and one count of possessing criminal tools, a felony of the fifth-degree. He was arrested May 4 after the Sidney Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant at his residence.

• Franklin Lee, 59, of Sidney, was charged with one count of possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth-degree.

• Phillip Hodge, 38, of Sidney, was charged with two counts of trafficking in drugs, fourth-degree felonies, and one count of possessing criminal tools, a felony of the fifth-degree.

• Randall Hodge, 42, of Sidney, was charged with two counts of trafficking in drugs, fourth-degree felonies, and one count of possessing criminal tools, a felony of the fifth-degree.

• Derrick Cornett, 23, of Sidney, was charged with two counts of trafficking in drugs, fourth-degree felonies. He was arrested May 9 after the Sidney Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant at his residence.

• Jimmie Walling, 32, of Sidney, was charged with one count of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, a felony of the fourth-degree, one count of operating a vehicle under the influence, and one count of driving under suspension, both first-degree misdemeanours.

• Jeffery Jackson, 33, of Sidney, was charged with two counts of trafficking in drugs, one, a felony of the third-degree, and the other a fourth-degree. He was also charged with one count of possessing criminal tools, a felony of the fifth-degree. He was arrested on May 2 after the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a narcotics search warrant.

• Jermaine Darty, 41, at large, was charged with one count of grand theft auto, a felony of the fifth-degree.

• Eugene Goings, 38, of Sidney, was charged with one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a felony of the second-degree, and one count of possessing criminal tools, a felony of the fifth-degree.

• Danielle Lamb, 28, of Sidney, was charged with one count of illegal use of supplemental nutrition or WIC program benefits, a felony of the fourth-degree.

• Ashley Nielson, 29, of Sidney, was charged with one count of illegal use of supplemental nutrition or WIC program benefits, a felony of the fourth-degree.

• Robin Goings, 35, of Sidney, was charged with one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a felony of the second-degree, and one count of possessing criminal tools, a felony of the fifth-degree.

• Roger Gross, 50, of Sidney, was charged with one count of possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth-degree.
