TUESDAY

-12:20 p.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to 4277 state Route 362 in McLean Township on the report of a debit card theft.

-12:30 a.m.: burglary. Deputies were dispatched to 1222 S. Kuther Road in Clinton Township on the report of someone trying to get into the residence from the front and side doors.

-12:17 a.m.: property damage accident. Deputies were dispatched to the 12000 block of state Route 274 in Dinsmore Township on the report of something in the north side ditch.

MONDAY

-9:59 p.m.: fireworks. Deputies were dispatched to Brookside Drive and Main Street on the report of fireworks set off in a field west of the park entrance.

-9:27 p.m.: fireworks. Deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of state Route 66 in Loramie Township on the report of fireworks set off since last Wednesday.

-7:51 p.m.: fireworks. Deputies were dispatched to 12550 state Route 362 in McLean Township on the report of fireworks set off by a large group of people.

-4:22 p.m.: suspicious car. Deputies were dispatched to the 16000 block of Botkins Road in Dinsmore Township on the report of a male going door to door.

-3:16 p.m.: investigative complaint. Deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of Perin Road in Cynthian Township on the report of a car drag racing.

-12:59 p.m.: property damage accident. Deputies are investigating a property damage accident at Fair Road and Jason Way in Washington Township.

-12:20 p.m.: threats or harassment. Deputies are investigating threats made by text to a resident in the 8000 block of Lochard Road in Salem Township.

-4:31 a.m.: suspicious car. A resident in the 22000 block of Wise Road in Jackson Township reported a male knocked on his door and said he had hurt his ankle. The subject then walked off.

-2:36 a.m.: investigate complaint. Deputies investigated a complaint at 13002 Luthman Road of two people laying in the front yard.

-1:01 a.m.: domestic violence. Deputies are investigating a report of domestic violence at a residence in the 80 block of Versailles Road in Loramie Township.

SUNDAY

-11:44 p.m.: threats or harassment. Deputies are investigating a report of a threat at a residence in the 7000 block of state Route 66 in Cynthian Township.

-9:20 p.m.: fireworks. Deputies investigated a fireworks complaint at County Road 25A and McCloskey School Road. Perry Port Salem Rescue was also dispatched to the scene.

-9:04 p.m.: fireworks. Deputies were dispatched to the 21000 block of Miami Shelby Road in regards to fireworks.

-7:43 p.m.: fireworks. Deputies were dispatched to the 5000 block of state Route 29 in regards to fireworks.

SATURDAY

-4:35 p.m.: criminal damaging/mischief. Joey Dillon Baker, 10934 Comanche Drive, Sidney, was arrested and charged with criminal damaging/endangering and criminal mischief. He allegedly removed a sticker from a license plate and charged with c riminal damaging. He was also arrested on a warrant from Miami County. When he was placed in a holding cell at the jail, he allegedly urinated on the door, wall and floor. He was charged with criminal mischief for the damage done at the jail.

-8:01 p.m.: investigate complaint. Jackson Center Police is investigating a complaint that two people took a vehicle and haven’t returned with it. The person reporting the incident was at 217 Robb St., Unit A.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-6:46 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue was dispatched to the 600 block of East Main Street.

-3:21 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Fort Loramie Rescue were dispatched to the 10000 block of Hardin Wapakoneta Road in Turtle Creek Township.

-12:24 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Botkins Police were dispatched to the 100 block of East Walnut Street in Dinsmore Township.

MONDAY

-11:47 p.m.: medical. Russia Fire Department and Houston Rescue responded to the 2000 block of Russia Houston Road in Loramie Township.

-9:40 a.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue was dispatched to the village of Fort Loramie.

-8:52 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Jackson Center Fire was dispatched to the 400 block of James Street in Jackson Center.

SUNDAY

-11:16 p.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue was dispatched to the 3000 block of Mason Road in Cynthian Township.

-10:16 p.m.: fire. Lockington Fire was dispatched to 4570 Hardin Wapakoneta Road on a report of a fish tank catching fire. Residents weren’t sure if there were any hot spots in the attic.

-9:23 p.m.: medical. Perry Port Salem was dispatched to the 11000 block of Sidney Freyburg Road in Salem Township.

-9:20 p.m.: fireworks. Perry Port Salem Rescue wad dispatched to County Road 25A and McCloskey School Road, along with a deputy, on a report of fireworks.

Accidents

Rusty J. Elsass, 57, 207 S. Main St., New Knoxville, was traveling northeast on Fair Road Monday at 12:59 p.m. when the passenger front tire blew and the vehicle went off the right side of the road, striking a ditch. The vehicle continued on and struck a street sign. The vehicle was disabled and was towed from the scene.
• Hannah Nicole Rinehart, 19, 8889 State Route 274, Kettlersville, was transported to Wilson Health following an accident Sunday at 10:30 p.m.
Rinehart was westbound on state Route 274 over the Interstate 75 overpass. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail.
Rinehart told deputies another vehicle had been traveling eastbound on state Route 274 and traveled into her lane of travel. She said she veered to avoid a collision.
Her vehicle sustained moderate damage.
• Nathaniel J. Cotterman, 29, 311 Onyx Drive, Anna, was eastbound on state Route 274 Sunday at 5:36 p.m. when a dog owned by Terry Parker, 8914 State Route 274, Kettlersville, ran into the road. The dog was killed in the accident.
Cotterman’s vehicle received moderate damage.
• James M. Barnett, 34, 737 Crescent Drive, Sidney, was eastbound on River Road Sunday at 4:12 a.m. and was approaching the Sulphur Heights Hill Drive intersection. Barnett said he fell asleep and drove through the intersection striking a guardrail on the northeast corner.

His vehicle was disabled in the accident and towed from the scene.

• Lauren Ann Monnin, 16, of Russia, was traveling on state Route 66 approaching state Route 47 Friday at 11:04 p.m. While attempting to turn southbound onto state Route 47, she failed to maintain control and went off the road and struck an ODOT road sign.

The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• Taylor J. Stucke, 24, of Maria Stein, was cited for failure to yield at a stop or yield sign following an accident Friday at 4:41 p.m.

Stucke, who was driving a Case IH high clearance field sprayer, was stopped at a stop sign facing north on Darke Shelby Road. He failed to see Scott A. Bubeck, 46, of Piqua, who was eastbound on Versailles Road. Stucke entered the intersection into the path of Bubeck’svehicle, which had the right of way and the vehicles collided.

Stucke and Bubeck were taken to Wilson Health by Houston Rescue.

The Case IH, owned by Maria Stein Grain, was disabled in the accident and towed from the scene. Bubeck’s vehicle was disabled in the accident and towed from the scene.
