TUESDAY

-7:52 p.m.: theft. Donald Strunk, 35, 710 Michigan St., reported the theft of his son’s BMX bike and his Kenwood car stereo from his vehicle at his residence.

-5:23 p.m.: grand jury indictment. Kayla Snyder, 22, at large, was arrested on a grand jury indictment and was charged with possessing criminal tools.

-2:47 p.m.: theft. Jonathan Schaffner, 39, 119 ½ N. Wilkinson Ave., reported the theft $500 from his residence.

-11:33 a.m.: found property. A wheelchair was found in the 500 block of West North Street.

MONDAY

-10:41 p.m.: theft. Geneva McCorkle, 46, 873 Crescent Ave., Apt. 2, reported someone stole a diamond ring and her wallet containing $600 and credit cards from her vehicle.

-9:42 p.m.: domestic violence. Tiffany Johnson, 28, 326 Park St., was arrested for domestic violence.

-2:03 a.m.: noise disturbance. Brandon Curl, 26, 785 Foraker Ave., was issued a summons for noise prohibitions.

Accidents

Tyler Gorsuch, 23, 1035 Regent Park Drive, was was arrested for OVI after an accident on Monday at 8:56 p.m.

Gorsuch was traveling southbound in the 800 block of North Ohio Avenue, continued southbound on Wapakoneta Avenue and hit the guardrail as he attempted to correct his direction after he saw the “do not enter” sign. After the collision, a witness saw Gorsuch and his passenger flee the scene on foot. Gorsuch said he is not from Sidney and did not realize you could not go in that direction onto Wapakoneta Avenue and so he fled because he had been drinking.

Fire, rescue

WEDNESDAY

-4:51 to 11:24 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to four calls.

-4:25 a.m.: animal rescue. Firefighters were dispatched to 1910 Fair Road for an animal rescue.

TUESDAY

-4:01 p.m.: fire. Crews were dispatched to the 3000 block of Mason Road on the report of a ditch fire.

-11:52 a.m. to 10:19 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to six calls.

-11:12 a.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched 227 Helen Court on unauthorized burning.
