WEDNESDAY

-2:45 a.m.: littering. Police charged Tyler S. Rhoads, 18, with littering in the Great Miami River in the 500 block of East Court Street.

-1:45 a.m.: theft. Someone entered the vehicle of Kevin Yantis, 710 S. Miami Ave., at the residence and stole $12 in cash.

-12:44 a.m.: assault. A 16-year-old girl reported someone assaulted her at 302 S. Walnut Ave. She had apparent minor injuries.

TUESDAY

-10:38 p.m.: criminal damaging. Michael Hewitt, 320 N. Miami Ave., Apt. 3, reported someone kicked and damaged a door at his residence. Loss was $200.

-4:12 p.m.: theft. Carol Bodenhorn, 17121 Sharp Road, reported a GPS unit, valued at $200, was stolen from her unlocked vehicle at 230 E. North St.

-3:15 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Michael Cable, 26, of Piqua, on a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

-12:38 p.m.: theft. Angel Barker, 709 S. Miami Ave., reported a lawnmower, tent with sleeping bags, and fire pit, valued at $315, were stolen from her residence.

-11:44 a.m.: domestic violence. Police arrested Brad Moffitt, 40, on a charge of domestic violence. He allegedly assaulted his brother, Randy Moffitt, 613 S. Highland Ave., at the residence. Randy Moffitt had an apparent minor injury.

-10:47 a.m.: property found. A Social Security card belonging to Anthony J. Harvey, of St. Paris, was found and given to police.

-9:19 a.m.: identity theft. Katie Klaus, 811 N. Miami Ave., reported someone created a Paypal account with her information and charged money to it.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-9:46 p.m.: open burn. Firefighters were called to 726 Buckeye Ave., where they determined a fire there was not permitted under a city ordinance.

-3:02 to 9:24 p.m.: Medics responded to five calls.
