Sheriff’s log

THURSDAY

-1:26 p.m.: theft. Possible fraud involving a checking account and email was reported at 847 Perin Road.

WEDNESDAY

-8:14 p.m.: assault. A man’s ex-girlfriend reportedly assaulted his girlfriend at 3775 Lindsey Road.

-7:27 p.m.: trespassing. Trespassing was reported in the area of Kuther and Miami River roads.

-3:28 p.m.: theft. Ebay fraud was reported at 7410 Wright-Moyer Road.

TUESDAY

-7:33 p.m.: man with knife. Deputies were dispatched to Lake Loramie State Park on a call that a man with a knife was waving it around. Fort Loramie and Minster police also responded. Police learned the suspect had fled the area in a green Chevy Suburban with larger-than-normal tires. The suspect was a white male with blond hair and a close-trimmed goatee; he was wearing a gray shirt and tan shorts. Officers also learned that the suspect was not threatening anyone with the knife. It was a butterfly-type knife and he was flipping it around, opening and closing it. A witness said the man did approach women, asked if they wanted to hang out, and made inappropriate gestures toward them. The vehicle the suspect got into was driven by a woman and there was a older man in the front passenger seat.

THURSDAY

-1:49 p.m.: theft. A purse was reported stolen from 114 Redbud Circle, Apt. D, Jackson Center.

-12:23 p.m.: property-damage accident. An auto accident occurred at 25 N. Main St., Fort Loramie.

-10:04 a.m.: vandalism. A vehicle was vandalized at 109 Redbud Circle, Jackson Center.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-11:13 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Van Buren Fire were called to the 10000 block of Wells Road.

WEDNESDAY

-10:24 p.m.: smoke. Fort Loramie Fire was called to the area of 236 Oakwood Drive, Fort Loramie, on a report that the tornado siren box was smoking.

-4:54 p.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue was called to the 8000 block of Patterson-Halpin Road.
