WAPAKONETA — The Wapakoneta Police Department is seeking the assistance of its residents to find the person who is responsible for shooting out vehicle windows Monday and Tuesday.

According to a press release, more than 30 reports have been taken of vehicle windows being broken out. The damage appears to have been done by a BB or pellet gun and occurred randomly throughout the day.

“We are seeking leads into this senseless act of vandalism,” said Chief Russel Hunlock. “If anyone has information in regards to who is responsible for the damage, please contact our department at 419-738-8802.”

The incidents remain under investigation.
